  2. This item is listed on ebay uk for 40 quid more ? But at this price, from french ebay, you could throw them away after the 2 year guarantee is up http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT
  3. Hi all Nearly finished putting back together the car with the dizzy VR6 now. I have an earth strap from the top right of the rocker cover. I cannot for love nor money recall where the other end goes ? Is it somewhere near the coil ? Help please.......... :confused4:
  4. don't tell them here...........no wait, we only have speed cameras in Lisbon sweet, but what a bloomin liberty Big brother is f###### you over
  5. if you sell the C, you'll regret it soon as spend some dosh on the motor, or stick an R32 lump in GTi's are common as muck and will never have the Kudos of a C imho anyway
  6. the aaa's were all 2.8 iirc. all vr6 corrado's in the uk are 2.9 there are 3 types of head gasket I think, but only differ in thickness. the older the car, the thicker it needs to be to take up slack, unless the block and head are reskimmed. correct me if I'm wrong tho, but this was the case when I did mine Dic
  7. me please for me surf board
  8. you can come here and do mine if you like I'll supply the beer
  9. thats a fab job dude. I presume the finished colour is a leather dye or something ? I ahve a small issue with the handles too, as they were cut to fit the later type, so they will need to be trimmed, but thats not too expensive here. Going to install a forward facing camera on, or in the bumber, because I use it mainly in Portugal and it's rhd, thought I would put monitor in door trim. What do you think ? Speakers for the other holes maybe, or something else
  10. got to be worth that in parts, but remember, it's not going to be easy, so don't expect it that way when it works, you can grin even more
  11. number plates. now there's a can of worms to change it they want about 5000 euros to do it. Tax, more tax and a little more tax to finish, oh and something on the side for the tax collector too............ Yeah we have to do amoething with it, but we'll see. Have a few months to think about that. We live next to the sea, about 200 metres or so, so the rust might be an issue yet. I will see If you're ever over this way, say hi Dic
  12. hey Miz what a bummer personally I would find another. It's probably been cooked by now Luke sounds like a nice enuff guy, but with no clue on maintenance, and willing to say anything to sell it. UNless it's really cheap, like 300 bucks or something, look for another. There are others about, not all of them rubbish Chin up dude Dic
  13. vr6 in a t4 thought about doing that with mine make sure the isv is moving freely. if it was full of shit then possibly something stuck in it don't worry about speed sensor, always shows when not running. possibly throttle body need cleaning too ? Luck dude
  14. lucky bunny. ooooooooo you said no reference to pink things. what goes around comes around. you didn't need to do all that guide for me, which was ubber helpful, but you did. they didn't have to get you anything, but they did. enjoy, and don't get them muddy
  15. Wanted some decent coilovers. anything decent considered. budget is limited, but would rather buy good second hand than cheap rubbish, new If you box 'em up, i'll arrange courier Ta!!

Yes, ideas to fill my holes please :confused4: Have an early leather interior in my later VR6 have some tidying to do on it and need some suggestions on what to put in the holes when I can afford it, they will be retrimmed entirely, but until then, suggestions please holes sizes are as follows (Width then height) 30mm x 45mm2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC04143_1024x682.jpg[/attachment:2uukh2ig] 60mm x 45mmDSC04144_1024x682.jpg[/attachment:2uukh2ig] 30mm diameter round one
  19. have just spent 2 weeks changing engines and looms and all that. Mrs has barely said anything to me about it. Thought she was a bit off with me. Went out for a pizza with her last night in the Corrado. Vague smile on her face. Driving between 2 buildings either side of the road and I floored it(for the noise obviously) She sat there and said, can we do that again...................arghhhhhhhhhhhh. Where were you when my hands were being cut to shreds and the I couldn't get the wires thru the bulkhead. Gotta Love 'em
  20. don't get paraniod, get louder and convert them to vr6's
  21. hey miz. The blowers not working will either be electrical, or mechanical connections on the controls. Not uncommon problem If the matrix has gone, then there is a possibility of it being wet on the floor in the cabin. The matrix is behind the centre console. There are also the connections on the bulkhead. If the matrix has gone, undo both the connections on the bulkhead and connect together using piece of 15mm copper pipe. If its the matrix this will stop it loosing water. If it continues to loose water, the problem is elsewhere. Good luck and have fun. AND STOP GRINNING
  22. could also be the heater matrix faf to do, but relatively cheap so long as it's cheap enuff, you'll be fine I bought a 1.8 16v 1989 about 5 years ago for 160 bucks. took 400 quid and it was all legal again enjoy and have fun
