Why would you import a Corrado, did some other country have a different spec one or something?
-
not a crotch rocket fan I'm afraid. Appreciate the tech, but they're not my thing. Although the V8 in that '7 revs to 10000rpm so it is gonna sound pretty strange, to my ears anyways.

A tour around our workshop at Uni ^_^

3 of the pics say, but I'll say again, Oxford Brookes. It's the Ex-Poly, been a uni almost 10 years now, doing really well in the "new uni" leagues! -

LOL, stop whining. I already said we could do your sunroof on Saturday. Just don't mince about so it takes 7.2 hours longer than necessary!

Once again, artistic imagery thanks to Prodigal Son aka P-Dub. Apologies for the lack of order, there's just too much to do atm.
-
PMSL!! Next door is a rock band who practise all the time, so I'm sure they don't mind a racket! Probs drop a crate round later on though, just to say cheers. @Corradude, didn't really wanna stop there but it was getting late (so much for evening daylight) and I wanted to get the saw back before incurring another day of rental. Should have some hi-def pics up soon care of Prodigal :D

Sorry guv, killed me one of those this evening.

uhhh, just before I get lynched here's the disclaimer: This Corrado gave its life and organs to keep more Corrados on the road.

pwned.JPG[/attachment:110c6kpl] Damn, power tools are addictive :rambo:

Shell has been hung, drawn and quartered (literally). Pics up shortly! p.s. renting power tools is SO MUCH FUN :D :D :D :D :D :D

Yeah I've cleaned Peugeot header tanks before. I used a broken up dishwasher tablet and boiling water. The fragments of the tablet act as a good scourer on the insides of the tank too! Deffo worth doing, esp when the tank is so dirty the coolant level is hard to see.

Tried to make sense of all the parts we stripped off the rolling shell:climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfparts1.JPG[/attachment:28ce8czw] And more views from my bedroom window: 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfparts2.JPG[/attachment:28ce8czw] parts3.JPG[/attachment:28ce8czw] So yeah, quite a lot to get through  -

Picked up the rear bench and 9a alternator from R4-ge (cheers mate), watched my ignition switch splutter on it's last legs on the way home, and then partly cut up the old shell as seen previously. There was just too many sparks going everywhere, and we're right next to the pavement too, so we're gonna get a salvage yard to come collect it this week. -
I'm sorry the pics are all thrown up, i'll sort them into some kind of order (perhaps with narative  ) today.

Early ones screw right off, no clip to be found on mine.

Just driven my bros 8vgolf, and my 16v is boring compared

^^ That won't help scavenging. The inlets normally have to be larger than the exhausts iirc, or at least the inlets need to have more lift. That's why the KR has piston cutouts on the inlet side as they life more than the exhausts do. BTW BEST THREAD EVER!!!11111 :D -
I'm the tall one in the glasses, Prodigal is kickin it one time for the street with his ghetto hat.

So.... this is what happen when you are addicted to cars, have a bro with paper, and an empty drive.... Danny Allen's ex-shell:

Took delivery of Danny Allen's shell, and spend the last 7ish hours stripping it for parts, which includes rolling it onto the roof to undo the rear beam! pictures to follow in another thread.
