  1. Good memory ! Where was that then (NI, England...) ?
  2. There are some real awkward clips up inside the door. But it's worth putting them back to avoid the rattles and knocks. A good, steady standard of work.
  3. There's no escape ! Hope yours is coming along as planned.
  4. I priced up this job as I had a mass of metal to blast. Have a look in my Campaign thread for all the parts that were shot blasted. All the powder coated parts cost me £130 all in. Wasn't worth me having a go in the end. The paint alone would have come close to that. NB: Shot basted sand is very bad for your body. Pro set ups use breathing apparatus.
  5. Painted. With this ere stuff: http://www.frost.co.uk/automotive-paint/eastwood-aluma-blast-paint.html
  6. Call me nieve, but I would have thought it safe to assume that the other Campaign owners would of at least "wiped their feet on the Corrado forum doormat" at least once or twice. And likewise, as most Corrado owners get giggly and excitable when within half a mile of another, I also thought it fair to expect the odd "spotted" picture to pop up from time to time. David Attenborough is always seen to pop up when a species is in decline. So who wants to make the phone call to the BBC then ?
  7. Slowly. Very slowly infact Jeremy. But well indeed.
  8. What mileage and history is with the engine/box please Andy ?
  9. I spotted your sale ad on the forum equivalent of "skins" Adam. Though I fear you may be too wide for me. Was only looking to accommodate seven inches. Fnar fnar...
  10. Where abouts are you ?
  11. Thanks for the offers chaps. Both great wheels in their own right but not what I'm after. I'm in no rush so am willing to bed in for the long haul. Still looking.
  12. Hi Andy Just for thread info to help others. Does the interior include the carpet ? All the best James
  13. To fit an 8V Corrado With or without tyres. Must be straight without buckles/damage. Don't mind refurbing untidy examples myself. To be delivered or within an hour of Wigan. Pref: Borbet C BBS RX BBS RX11 BBS RM (15" - no silly prices) ET33 or ET35
  14. And so it begins. Glad you decided to keep the car Jay. Nothing like a tidy, clean, well appointed garage to work in. Note to self: Tidy the garage...
  15. Have you fitted a TT rear bench as well ? What are the TT seats like, height and adjustment wise ?
  16. Hi Neil Sent you a PM to keep your thread tidy. There's plenty of help and advice on this ere' forum. You'll find most things covered. And if you don't, then just ask. Now let's have some pictures. Congrats James
  17. Blackberry VR6 (M reg) @ 4pm today, driving through Upholland. I spoke with you a couple of years back in Billinge. Don't think you're on here ( hope I'm wrong though ). Nice standard car, in what looked like very good condition. Gave a wave all the same. ( I was in the Sherry red Corrado ).
  18. Hi Andy Looking for a pair of black plastic covers. The ones that clip over the front seat runners, along the centre tunnel. And also the front black plastic strut cap covers. Thanks in advance, James
  19. Welcome to the forum and Corrado ownership. Have a look in the group buy/ suppliers section for the lad who makes updated looms. I recently fitted one to my 8v and am very impressed, with the product, service and end result. Sunroof motor is do-able but allow yourself a full day if you've never done it before. A second pair of hands comes in handy as well. You might want to upgrade the wipers to Mk1 TT or Lupo GTI items if you're running standard items whilst you're at it. All the best and let's have some pictures !
  20. Looks like there's a set of de-locked handles though Adam.
  21. James.

    Recaro part number

Crumbs. Very surprised they're available. Don't suppose you asked about bolsters whilst there ? Just to show, it's worth asking the question to the parts guy every now and again !

    Recaro part number

I'd try an email to capital seating Andy, just in case. http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/productlist.asp?type=s&view=range&rid=61&mid=2 Gareth, they should be able to hook you up with some bolsters as well.
