Yeah, I know about the passat rears, just thought of something completely different, thats why I asked the original question. Newer Vdubs, mondeo's etc etc all have more rounded handles, and imho they look better.

Me and my mate were getting into a new shape mondeo at work the other day, when we both looked at the rear handle, and thought 'That look like the same size as a Corrado handle'. Does anyone know if these or any other new design handles would fit a c? I know it may be a bit different, but they looked the same sizw, though the mechanisms may be a tad different :)

Need to hijack, sorry mate. I have full closure VW system. It closes everything after 30 secs though, which can be a bit awkward at the petrol station or the likes. How do you turn it off????

Still got my CD head unit if you want it? Its got CD control too, and its Kenwood. Cant remember the model off the top of my head though.

There is a post here somewhere mate, it mentions LED's, so try searching. As the bulbs are out you can change them all to whatever colour you like, like new VW's or Audis???

If it comes to the worst mate, Ive got a kenwood CD player (KDC-4090R) in my Nissan which I can sell to you. Its not amazing, but its good enough and it has a CD controller built in so you wouldnt need to buy a new system.

Well every company I have ever tried dropped it for me, so its worth a go. Besides on their websites, you can enter the details without her on it, then again with her on it, see if there is a difference. Check out elepahnt and admiral websites for quotes. You can do it all yourself, and will get some idea. Also, put your MUM down as a named driver!! even if she doesnt drive it, the fact she is on there will drop the insurance. seriously!!!
