My missus has a 51 reg with heated mirrors. She got a replacement lens from Renault, I think it was aroun £30, but dont quote me on that.

In my last C I hit some water on the M42 at about 60 mph in the fast lane. Spun across all 3 lanes, went up the bank, around one of them little white posts with numbers on it (didnt touch it at all), and landed in the gravel facing the wrong wat!!! I scuffed two wheels and my front bumper, that was it. I had my girlf in the car, and I shit myself!!! Luckily it was about 10pm, and not much about. The police closed the whole motorway for about ten mins so I could get out of the gravel and get turned around. About two mins later, a brand new beemer hit the water, and then the central reservation, there was gravel everywhere, and it was pissing down and dark, and peope were still flying past!!! I was very lucky that night.

I have the same alarm, and exactly the same symptoms. It can be a bit dodgy if the keys are in the ignition, but not switched on, and the door shuts while your under the bonnet!!! :shock:

Dont know mate, Ive only driven it 3 times, and dont want to as last time it was stupidly loud and dont want it to get that way again in case of damage.

"Could" mean friendly, yes. Anyway, enough of the rant. Ive just cleared the faults on my car, and run the test with the engine warmed up, and still running - NO FAULTS APPARENT :) Well apart from the knocking still :( Will How you getting on with yours mate?

I think that was a bit uncalled for. People get stressed out when they dont know whats going on, and maybe miss something, all it takes is a little direction, not someone swearing and giving them sh*t!!! :mad:

Im getting similar readings, and after reading this, its cos the engine wasnt running. :oops: How do I clear the lambda sensor? And go to blocks group 006 field 1??? :(

I have a similar problem mate. It comes from the rear left as you look at the engine, near the manifold. Is that where yours is? You can hear it better if you put your head close whilst revving. The problem with mine was that the oil pick up was blocked, but its now started doing it again. Im changing the oil pump this week with a known serviceable one, to see if its the cause of the problem or not.

They are quite expensive. Cant find them on ebay, well have found one set. Is there any other place that sells them?

Its misfiring. I just saw that on GSF. The garage still have it in Norwich. My mate picked it up, after they finally got the other shit sorted, and it started misfiring. He took it back to them, and they said its the coil pack. They are trying to source one, but Ive told my mate about gsf, so they should get it sorted by tomorrow, then I can finally start driving it!!!! Cheers dude ;)
