Can I hijack this post? Im having similar probs. After driving, when I pull to a junction, I cant get it into 1st, sometimes. I have to select 2nd, then first, and even that doesnt work all the time so I end up pulling away in 2nd. It also does same for reverse ie when I need to park. Any ideas? (Sorry for hijacking, just thought better than a new post)

Try lifting the pedal to see if the lights go out, it could have dropped. Ive seen it before, though it was on a fiesta!!

A place called Clive Attall in Norwich, tuning place apparently. He replaced a valve for £50, and it made no difference. Its got no boost at all. The guy said the turbo was knack'd - no boost. No light on either. Any ideas mate?

My mate has been told his turbo on his 98 R reg 1.8T has given up the ghost. Hes been quoted some extortionate prices to get it sorted. Anyone here offer any advice? Gav? He lives in Norwich but has just started working in Preston at the same place as me. Cheers :)

I emailed GPC, the kits are £60 = p&p = VAT. It includes both arms and wipers. So not quite less than £20.

Ive got a Pioneer DEH-P7400MP head unit in my new C. All works as advertised, except that none of the buttons illuminate when the lights are on. The display does dim though. Does anyone know if it has a separate feed for the buttons? How do you remove a Pioneer head unit? Cheers :)

Its supposed to be a new alt!!! :mad: It was changed a couple of months ago, and then supposedly fixed last week when it wasnt working, hence the delay in picking the car up. Wheres good around this area Gav?

Is it part of the alt itself? How difficult is it to sort out? Im thinking of just sorting it myself, the garage are sh*t!!!

Thought it may be something to do with that. So what does it entail to be sorted? Repair or replace? Its new so it'll be going back to the garage either way.

My lights (interior and exterior) seem to pulse when the car is runnig. When I press the accelerator its not as noticeable. The alternator and battery have been changed in the last few months. Any ideas? :roll:
