  2. Its been as low as -18c round mine and using petroleum jelly on the door rubbers and door lock barrel, and 99p lidl silicon spray on everything else.
  3. Did you get any thanks for doing it ? I did similar last year and no one said nothing,so this year i got my winters on and left them to struggle. :reindeer:

  6. Did the same about an hour ago,253 incl fitting etc for Conti`s,thurs fitting and hopefully they wont back out of the deal for some reason or other ?
  7. THese tyres were 39 only last night, talk about profiteering barstwards  OOOOOOOoopppsss, 195 50 15 are still "only" £69.
  8. Mytyres have just put their prices up by nearly 100% since the beginning of the week :( Think I`ll just park the Raddo up instead of getting fleeced.
  9. Oils always clean because i have a constant leak/burning. So needs a small top up every 250 miles . Filter and full change every 12 months, 186k and going strong!
  10. AA for me as theres just more of them about for my area. £40 for the full service ,home, relay, roadside after £60 quidco.Nice.
  11. Did mine recently without the dash out, the windscreen setting was too tight to get to but once the controls were secured back in place it worked fine, just a bit tight.Might work for u?
  12. A new boring soleless Kia Ceed. No garage bills for 7 years guaranteed. And yes ive just got back from the garage again with another repair bill, I`m there every 3 months or so , F*CK ! Never getting rid of it though ;-)
  13. Thanks for sending mine out in the last group buy bud.
  14. I know its been a while but eventually sorted it. A new dizzy and re-timed sorted it at last, and its flying again. Hope your all sorted out too Raddoman.
  15. Isnt it the fuel neck drain pipe, for fuel or water gathered at the petrol cap?
  16. Mine leaked at the foliage cover too but instead of bothering with replacement foam i just used a bit of roof/gutter sealant, worked a treat too :)
  17. Could be another candidate for a group buy if anyone knows someone that can manufacture these?
  18. Cheers David. Couldnt do it myself so good to know roughly how long it would take the garage to do it.
  19. Hi,no the clutch is all good but is original i think and has done 160k so was thinking it must be close to wearing out and was just wondering how many hours it takes a garage to change it and cost wise, cheers. :salute:
  20. Or a quick dose of k seal maybe? Half dose might be enough but heard stories that all additives etc are the work of SATAN himself :evilbat:
  21. Hi guys,my clutch pedal is nearly touching the carpet now after lasting a long time. Its a 16v and I would like to know how much it should cost to get it replaced/fixed at my local garage ? also should i do anything else to the engine at the same time ie water pump? Thanks if u can offer any help :salute:
  22. Great thread by the way. I bought a switch off a guy on the corradonet that almost cost me my car :censored: Fitted it on the morning of the mot, then smoke starts flowing out the dash, luckily after blowing air at it the small flame blewout just as it was about to really get going. So no more second hand dodgy electrics for me,and getting a custom made loom aint cheap either.
  23. a. drove under a blue ufo one night :pale: b. collect tree ferns :help: c. used to be a fire bug(sorry golfcourse) :onfire:
  24. Come on guys just joking, not a good one admited. Was carrying a small steak knife for ages in case of running repairs but then thought if i was pulled over i`d probably get done for it so its been dropped. And just for the record ive never been arrested, last fight was in school aged 12, and 3 penalty points in 20 years of driving so not really a master criminal afterall.
