James - I'm afraid I have had no luck at all in extracting the exterior door wipers - the only way I could possibly have got them off intact would have been to have cut the door skin just below them, which I'm unwilling to do at the moment as the doors are in reasonable condition. Really sorry! Iain - I've just sold both wings I'm afraid. Sorry. Tom
-
No worries, let me know if he's interested.
-
Yeah its fine, it only came out because of the TDi conversion. Never dirtied its oil and ran quietly and smoothly.
-
I know that 8V - used to live round the corner from me, in Allestree, Derby. It looked a bit tired when I last saw it and was up for sale - no front splitter and a few other little bits and bobs so it's good to see that its gone to a good home :-) Enjoy Corrado ownership! Tom

perky15 - £25 collected for the roof lining, it's in pretty good condition! Tom
-
Sorry dude, I don't have enough packaging material to post it and it standing any chance of surviving. Collection only, unless you can arrange someone to pick it up for you.
-
It's not a 2E, its an ADY. Give me a tenner and you can have the lot if you want it!
-
Nope, already sold - sorry!
-
Yeah, that's a possibility :-) I'll sort it one way or another!
-
Yeah I've advertised it before - I may try it on eBay one more time before I weigh the car in. I was going to bolt it into the VR6 that I'm breaking, as in take the VR6 out, strip the shell etc then just shove the 8V and broken gearbox in to weigh it in. Thanks for the offer of the parts, I'll let you know on them :-) Tom
-
Yeah it's a genuine one. No worries though!

I've got one - in pretty good condition - looking for £30 collected for it. I'll post some pictures up shortly. Tom ---------- Post added at 7:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:55 PM ---------- Pics: The only bit of corrosion is underneath where the side repeater mounts - the wheel arch area is really good. It needs a clean and a polish but other than that ready to bolt on. As I said before, £30 collected please! Cheers Tom

Paid - posted - done :-)

Yep - got one - £7.50 posted! Tom

Andy - I have a good radiator I'm about to remove from a breaker. In good condition, looking for £100 posted as its quite delicate, the sleeves for the top elbow is intact. Will also chuck in the crack pipe for an extra tenner if you want it. Cheers Tom
-
James - going to attempt to get them off today so I'll keep you informed. onestep - I now have 2 N/S indicators available, no O/S ones. If you need a N/S one then I'm your man, if not then sorry! tonytiger - I could persuaded to post the sunroof mechanism however it'd have to be worth my while as its a big heavy object and I struggle to get couriers to collect from my address as they can never bloody find it. However, I have 2 good mechanisms so I could certainly have a go at posting one of them. The postage cost will be about a tenner but it's going to use quite a lot of my packaging as well as time to wrap etc so how does £60 posted sound? Cheers Tom

Hi, I'm looking for a cheap as possible 8V/16V/G60 front subframe, crossmember and scrap engine mounts, if possible. This is to fit to a car that I'm breaking in order to also dispose of an 8V engine and broken gearbox that I can't even give away. I may as well bolt it into the car and get the extra scrap value from the weight of those parts. If anyone had anything then please let me know - doesnt matter about the condition , as long as it'll bolt on and support an engine. Cheers Tom

Trimsport VW Corrado Carbon Fibre Rear Number Plate Holder
Purple Tom replied to G60MAT's topic in Suppliers Forum
I've got a spare plinth that you can have to take a mould from. In fact I've got two spares so whichever is the better one I happily donate to the cause. Let me know where to send it and I'll get it posted for you. Obviously I'd like first chance to buy the carbon fibre successor too :-) Tom -
I saw this car on Gumtree but couldn't justify it at the time - I'm really glad it got rescued as it looked like it just needed some decent TLC! Let us know how you get on with it. Tom

Sunroof Mechanism Cover/Courtesy Light Surround (for late VR)
Purple Tom replied to Billzeebub's topic in Wanted
Yeah I've got one - £12 posted if you want it! Good condition just removed from a breaker. -
Welcome - if you're contemplating a TDi conversion then all I can say is do it - very worthwhile :-)
-
Yep - no MAF on a 16V. Sounds like something wrong with the fuelling side of things, but have you eliminated ignition problems, issues with timing etc?
-
I've just taken a good cable and lever off the VR6 that I'm breaking. You can have the pair for £25 posted if you want them - price breakdown: £10 handle £10 cable £5 postage Cheers Tom
-
You don't need to take it all the way out, just enough to unclip the end from the handle itself. £22 posted for the handle and clip matey. Cheers Tom ---------- Post added at 4:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 4:22 PM ---------- VR-OOM - Yep I have those, they're in good condition but they're weathered and are typical of 15 year old original roof strips.

Ok, update time, and relevant pictures/questions answered: Alan h - pic of the rear lights and bonnet release, which does indeed have the clip intact. The reason I don't want much for the rear lights is because the casings are cracked, not visible with the tailgate shut but can be seen with the tailgate open. The boot area is dry so doesn't seem to affect sealing, just a bit annoying really - the 'reddening' job is very good. Have a look, see what you think: SimonVR6 - Yep, happy to sell the spoiler and spoiler motor. I presume you're willing to collect both? If so, will do them both for £35 collected. Voo51 - Yep, the sunroof is fully functional, the best one I've had in a Corrado actually. I'd keep it except I've got a moonroof to go in the other one. £30 collected for the frame/runner and an extra tenner if you want the motor, so £40 altogether with the motor. Martin - yep, I have that, its in good condition, uncracked - £30 posted for it. wapadrand - I'm afraid the N/S sill is the area of the corrosion on this car, the N/S/R wheelarch is reasonable although the rot has spread up inside the rear quarter at the rear of the sill. If you're local you're welcome to come and have a look to see if its suitable. dil - the gearknob is unavailable currently although I *may* have a spare one kicking around somewhere, I'll have a look. James - standby on the window outer seals, I'm going to try to get them off intact but I can't make any promises as they're so bloody delicate when they've been on a while! Cheers all so far. Tom
