hi mate yer mer is rubbish :D and not very abrasive i have some heavy cut meguires 105 or even menzerna power gloss that would do the job very aggressive could bring you a wee dramm on sunday if ya like :D for a tenner :lol:

you could cut all the wires fit bullet connectors to them all and disconnect one at a time to see if it works :D

moon roof is a glass sunroof from a passat from around 94 to 96 i beleve but basicly a glass roof with the same funcionalty as the metal one just in glass :D

i found that turning the steering (wheels of the ground engine not started ) primed the system really well as after the first time the pump was really noisy did it a second time and the noise went really quick

also did you unplug the yellow wires from the resistor hidden in the nearside wing behind the light that can cause problems if you dont !!

all i know about em is from kev 5 wire early (ag ecu) 4 wire (cp ecu) you have the early ecu so it would need be the same i have tried a ag ecu on mine it ticks over but try to rev it and it goes pair shapes

not an easy fix mate but im sure you can get a repair kit or just replace it personally i have a moon roof i prefer them but its up to you

Couldn't see/hear any air leaks, and gonna clean the isv tomorrow, couldn,t do much with a torch in the dark and chucking down with rain. cheers see told you to buy a vr6 :lol:woops er i mean check the ISV :D

got wet fitting a offside front abs sensor and the blue temp sender in the engine bay and now vag com says its all working nice again :D

changed my gearbox oil last weekend and now she slides into first like a dream :D

no still listed work out around about a ton from the dealerships!!!
