Make sure you get a cam locking tool before you start fitting them, luckily for me my local friendly forum Mod gave me a hand. Its also definatly worth ordering up a new cam position trigger. all ordered from my guy at martins vw in camberley he does some good deals for me now as im always in there :D

well i picked em up last night so thanks to leon for a great deal gonna fit em my self in a couple of weeks time so will do picks and a little write up for anybody else interested in this kind of thing :D

His mates cable will have the later rectangular-ish connector whilst the Corrado to about '93 has the 2 x 2pin connectors. The cheap ebay cable converts the OBD2 style plug to the early 2x2 style. Is that what you mean. By the way, I get 31-32ish on a run and mid - high 20's for anything else. interesting i though all vr6's had the obd connector (rectangular type) as you said :shock:

i thought they had the same connectors what car does he have ??? oh and im getting around 30-31 on a motorway run and 25 ish around town and i know my blue temp senders out as the temp reads 77 ish on the dash i have vagcom :D if your around the heathrow area next week i can scan your car it takes 5 mins :D

just washing powder or like above the sonus stuff if you use any kind of fabric softner it makes the towels go hard and useless same as your towels in the bathroom ask your ladies if they use fabric softner for any kind of towels if they do beat them untill they know not to :lol: :lol:

deffo fit it as said above its will make a noticable difference just remember to ensure you run the rca cables down the middle of the car and the power down the passenger side and use a large 30amp fuse near the batt and you should have no probs :D

i think that looks pretty sweet actually i reckon i would swap the rado for one :D

thats a mental price tag for repairs but can you imagine how many r35 bumpers are gonna get kicked just to see the bonnet ejector seat launch a mate into space :lol:

just spoke to my local friendly stealer as i was going to replace the tappets and springs (although nothing wrong with mine as they are not noisy :D ) price is £266.04 for hydro tappets and £121.92 for outer and inner springs :shock: does that sound right ?? :shrug:

im getting my 263 cams from leon on thursday :clap: question is when i fit em do i have to get it remaped or will they run ok without ? obviously i will get it remaped but not this side of xmas or is it worth waiting as i still use the car (but not as a daily) any thoughts

a fine choice sir :D just remember and this goes for any drying towel never use softner when you wash the towel in the washing machine it will go hard and not work

changed the gearbox oil and power steering fluid and then gave her a wash :D nice

bit of an odd one but i changed the power steering fluid today and it has left the pump really noisey it has gotten a little quiter but not very much i also used vw power steering fluid the green stuff should i have used something else ??? once emptied i reconnected the pipe filled the header tank turned the steering from left to right a few times also turned the pump to prime it a bit top it up again then started the car and repeated the turning left to right have i missed somthing ???? any help would be great

water blades scratch paint work and are bad bottom line use a good drying towel the megs item is good when new but stops working after a 10-15 washes get a drying towel from clean your car or any of the other car cleaning web sites i also recomend using a quick detailer b4 you dry your car it eliminates water marks and helps dry the car quicker megs last touch is great for this :D :D :D :D :D
