i have a genuine key com lead and when used it fully unlocks the vagcom software i guess it has some kind of encoding chip in it and funnyly enough it always works !!

i have one and its a very handy thing to have a must have item if you want to work on your own car really
-
look under where the gear stick is and you will see the connection there are two one is a d shape connector and the other is two 2 pin connectors if you have the large d shape one that lead will work with both if n ot you will need 2 leads

i had this when my coil pack gave up the ghost so i think it is a by product of rich running as it also killed the cat converter too! :(
-
it tells the ecu about your emissions so advances and retards ignition and fueling i think so quite important i would say !!

i would get it vag com.ed first b4 you start splashing money out on things you think may be wrong as it could well be something completly different i vagcomed mine this morning as i thought it was running a little off and turns out the blue temp sender is buggered i though it was the maf or a breather pipe !

unsure but i would like a 6 branch manifold so would also be interested to know about this but im sure all it would do i keep underbonnet temps lower
-
looks ok from the pics suspension is well suited to that field its in and it has not been driven for a while as the disks are golden brown with rust best thing to do is go look at it and wave 3 grand in cash inder his nose and see how you get on :D
-
 Nice one Caught two suckers with that one already LOL Balls. And it was my damn idea! ha ha ha :D
-
its an age old problem but i think these people selling their corrados should wake up to the fact they are only worth what the next person is willing to pay them for it and £5000 is not really a buyer figure for a corrado vr6 perhaps like you said around 3 grand for a good one !
-
question is would you wrap a std manifold and what holds more heat stainless steel or cast iron ??
-
