  3. ok thats deffo on the list :salute: list so far new tappets new springs newsouth gasket cam sensor getting the inlet manifold powdercoated
  4. oh yes that i will do any idea on price ? DG :notworthy:
  5. Congrats  You're going to absolutely love them!! A new cam sensor is essential as they tend to snap when taking them off the old cam, don't cost much either. Mine was a low milage engine so I didn't bother with new tappets but if I had the chance again I'd maybe be inclined to as mine sounds a touch tappity now, about £100 for a new set. Oil change wouldn't hurt after they've bedded in a bit, that's all I bothered with, didn't either get a map and I'm still getting awesome results, just depends how serious and how much money you want to spend. I did fit a newsouth phenolic gasket and insulted the underside of my manifold now I think of it, but I get carried with random little ideas that probably have no real gain :D might be calling you up if i get stuck :D but cool thanks for the advise was going to get the inlet manifold powdercoated whilest doing the cams where did you get the gasket from ??
  6. no serious that is a beaut  :camp: :censored: :camp:
  7. as per the title i have some sp263's on the way thanks to leon :salute: so when i put these in what other parts should i change ??? im gonna put new tappets in should i do springs and anything else ???

  12. the megs drying towels are good for about 5 drying sessions then it seems to forget how to soak water up  why not try dodo lime prime instead of the megs stage 1 cleaner as the megs only cleans and the lime prime also does a little bit of cutting as well then your colly wax is fine and as suggested above wash dry, clay (what clay bar you using ??) then wash again and dry and then lime prime then your wax then you will need your holiday
  13. on the left hand side of the engine funny enough tensioning the serpentine belt :cuckoo:  its the silver looking thing next to your airbox bolted to the side of the engine

  17. that poor geezer has spent many hours and blood sweat and bags of money to create what he thinks is a master piece of design and you lot rip the s**t out of him :nono: well i congratulate all of you what an utter mess

  19. looks nice mate when did you plan to adjust the kw v1's back from off road setting
  20. gonna say they normally take it away to do in their shops as both mine were done there as its not a road side job !!
  21. i think the point being missed is the fact that you paid for repairs to you car that were done to a poor standard costing you £35 for a failed free retest i would be more anoyed that i had payed for work to be done poorly than worrying about not passing an mot for free at least they found that your garage had done the work poorly tighting a rear wheel bearing correctly is not rocket science now is it
  22. new pump !!!!! :( vagcom would tell you if the sensors were at fault 2nd hand abs pumps can be had for around £20-30 on ebay so not really a major worry
  23. sounds very expensive £500 to send the reason something so light is so expensive is the volumetric weight it carries for example a box weighing 10 kilos but has a size of 100x100x100 cms would weigh 166.66 kilos in volume :D
  24. looks like gene hunts quattro in small and badly focused mood scene
  25. how about the veyron lump im sure it will squeeze in there somehow !! :D :D
