I paid a while ago, but never posted. Sorry.

The steering cowling is pretty good although the bit that the knee plate snaps into is broken off and it has no flappy sprung bit. The knee plate could be siliconed back in easily enough though. The point of sticking all this up for free is really to try and avoid the hassle of packaging and posting stuff though. I'm having a bit of a declutter at the moment but it's not really worth the effort trying to sell the lower value stuff such as this. I would just toss it all in the bin but that makes me feel bad :(.

I imagine there is a guy working there that is confused at the strange bump in sales of 3M no 80 at the moment :). (Thanks, got my liners today :smug:.)

I'm in Morningside, which is on the south side of Edinburgh.

If you're willing to pick up from Edinburgh, you can have anything in this picture for free (though if you want to give me beer I won't complain). Save Corrado parts from the bin!

It has a ball end.

Having replaced my hand brake cables today, I can confirm that 1H0 609 721A is the right one to go for. Unfortunately it's obsolete from the dealer but ECP number 108440798 is an apparently equivalent pattern part. It has some plastic bits where the genuine one would have had metal, but at least it won't rust!

I removed mine with white spirit and a lot of patience.

Oh go on then. VR6, no emblem.
-
Potentially interested.

That's what she said...

If you're happy to do that and it works out cheaper then sure!
-
Yep, that looks right. I'm in Edinburgh so I would probably come and pick them up if I had a working car right now, but I don't :(. So can you give me a posted price please? Thanks.

Do your seats look like this: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?68221-Left-rear-seat ?
-
Well keep me in mind if you have trouble...
-
I need the left rear seat, base and back. Assuming you are willing to supply just this, how much including postage? TIA.

Yeah the cylindrical ones work, I just reckon the ball end ones will work better. Since I need new cables, I might as well go for the best option...

Is 1H0 609 721E the right hand brake cable to go for? I remember when I was putting my MK4 calipers on a few years ago thinking that my existing cables didn't mate to the new calipers very well. It seems like the calipers expect a ball end but the existing cable had a small cylindrical end. Incidentally I think the part numbers quoted in this thread may be wrong. It's 721E as far as I can tell, not 712E. ---------- Post added at 8:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:16 PM ---------- Looking at these pages I can't help thinking 721A is probably a better fit: http://www.autocarspare.com/catalog/brake-cable/1h0609721a.html http://www.autocarspare.com/catalog/brake-cable/1h0609721e.html Especially when you compare it to what MK4 Golfs seem to use: http://www.autocarspare.com/catalog/brake-cable/1j0609721ac.html It's possible I'm over thinking this ;).

First of all sorry for the delay; blame Norovirus :pukeleft:. Can I convince you to just sell just the rears? Judging by the number of door cards on ebay they're pretty hard to shift so I would probably just chuck the fronts if you sold me them, and that would be a shame. That and the fact I already have loads of front door cards . I take it you're not willing to split the interior? I'm after the left rear seat as well.
-
Having trouble working out if these have gone already but I'm after the left rear door card and left rear seat: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?68221-Left-rear-door-card-and-seat . I've been after these for bloody ages. Can you help me out?

That shot is about |--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| this long (not to scale).
