I would start with a new ignition switch. Easy to do and gives you peace of mind that it's not going to fail at an inconvenient time. If it fixes the problem it's a bonus.

Planes don't get their locomotion from the wheels, so it makes no difference if it's on a conveyor or not. The conveyor only serves to spin the wheels faster when it's still in contact with the ground.
