my mate has a lego technics car with a working V6 engine connected to an LSD that really works! you could try that... tho this was rear wheel drive and was not that complex...

not that i can see... had a chat with alex and swift lastnight about it... we're pretty sure it's just water in the disti cap or at worse the sparks... will check it out this weekend...

had some creamy residue on the oil cap... that was on sunday morning... checked it again thismorning after using the car yesterday to see how it ran and it had gone... had taken the filter out and got no foamy crap... will clean out the sparks and jazz over the weekend... will let the car rest and dry till then... will give that wet start stuff a go too...

right so it was dark, and saw it way too late went through a huge puddle quite fast and not the car is juddering like anything... checking the air filter and that seems fine, still need to check the disti cap and WD40 it up. Checked the oil and it looks like some has got in there (can that happen?!). will have to replace the oil what else do i need to check? i'll be working on it over the weekend... Millerman, you free this weekend? i'll probly replace the inlet mani this weekend too... got a polished one floating around...

we change the tunings every week to suit the track... what track you tuning for? I've tried to tune it so that i have a good tune for most tracks. In A class i switch bewteen no more than 3 cars depending on the track. also, out of interest, what assists are you using? I've got all driver assists switched off, and using manual gearbox and manual clutch. clutch too? wow... i'm no good with that, so i use manual w/o clutch... but otherwise all assists off... the more you tune, the more u realise how much you need a specific tune for each track... i don't have a tune above B 500... the car just doesn't handle well after that...

I know that it's a completely pointless thread really but i have such a huge smile on my face i though i would share it with the people that would appreciate it!... I've not driven my car for about 3-4 weeks now... i mean not properly... taken it round the block just to keep the engine/batt going... but not further than a couple of miles... so today, rather than getting a lift into work today i thought i would drive, especially since the road slish had mostly melted overnight... now since i live in fleet and work in bracknell, the route i take to work has lots of nice windy roads... anyone that live nearby will know what i mean... i remember now why i love this car so much! i had a huge grin on my face all the way to work today.... and as i parked up while what remained of the snow slid off revealing the beauty the VW had pulled off, my boss pulled up next to me in his M3... got out and spoke the kindest words to me... "I want your car you ass-hole!"... there is something about this car that makes me smile every time... i don't know if it's the way it drives, it's stunning looks, the way that awesome V6 sounds when you plant it or even it's exclusivity... i've spent a lot of money on the car over the 2 years that i've had it, every penny well spent.... even if it's just for the way it made me feel this morning! anyone elses car decide to stick it's hand down thier trousers this morning?

It's supprisingly roomy on the passenger seat all the way back and reclined but i couldn't feckin relax... kept worrying bout gettin the cloth durrty! i got a slap for that... :(
