IMO if autoglass are doing it for you (i'm guessing under insurance) and you have a nice cosey garage to keep the motor in, you may as well wait to get it done and get some fresh sand on the side... really depends on how much you need the car over the hols... :shrug:

Aye, you'd be surprised mate! Ever driven a Corrado with a new windscreen where the glue hasn't hardened fully? You can feel the car flexing a bit. Not as bad as an Escort Cabriolet scuttle shake-tastic kind of way, but definitely floppier than usual.....like Walsey's c0ck after a night on the tequila.... :lol: great line! but yeah i know what you mean... has the windscreen replaced in my car not that long ago and it really felt odd for a day or so... the jelly-mobile... I'm not a fan of the pop-out rear windows anyway...
