  1. Does it NEED to be a plush one? Aren't your supplier after the patterns more than anything? Good luck in the move. Onwards and upwards!
  2. I'd spend 4k at stealth everytime instead of risking an eBay turbo popping and potentially munching the engine.
  3. Hopefully this info will save people some cash :-) I only bought the 1 as a top up supply in the garage. Can't see me using it in a rush. I've only put in a quarter litre in the last 1500 miles and that was probably more than it had used.
  4. All nipples in life are better up high than down low.
  5. Just popped into tps for some bits and to get some oil. They are currently doing 5l of Synta Platinum for 20 quid. Just thought that might be useful for anyone after oil for their 24v.
  6. Did you get any volunteers Anna?
  7. I had Jim as there are a half dozen or so dents scattered around the car. Problem with the drivers door is that the lower of the 2 dents has been pushed back far enough against the crash bar in the door that it has left a split. It's not split all the way through but it did leave a strip of rust directly below the rub strip approx 4 inches long so the door will need replacing. The dent man might be the answer for the rest of the car though.
  8. I'm having a nice lazy week of leave and decided to give the car a proper clean for a change. The respray is definitely needed but I'm doing my best to maintain what I do have! I also need a new drivers door due to a previous owners ability to attract dents. 3 photos for the photo whores out there, usual excuses such as camera phone, poor light, lack of talent are all relevant here. For anyone interested, AutoGlym Super Resin Polish, AG Ultra Deep Shine, AG Extra Gloss Protection and Dodo Juice Purple Haze on the paintwork. Poorboys Bold and Bright on the trim and AG Metal polish on the exhaust. Interior treated to a vacuum, cleaned leather and deep scrub. Still need some mats though! I also replaced all of the little blue clips that hold on the rear Corrado Script in place as I was a bit bored of having it flap about whenever I washed the car!
  9. Yep, New gaskets all round.
  10. A vacuum bleeder is also a good tool. 288s on mine and nice and quiet.
  11. I thought that is was supposed to be fitted at the other end if the wire. Ie in the engine bay and replaced that trumpet looking thing with a bolt in it.
  12. Same gearbox, different bellhousing.
  13. If anything it'll increase the risk in trashing a gear because instead of a wheel being able to spin away excess torque, both wheels will be driven and the torque will remain in the box. You'll have an amazing time driving it in the mean time until a gear does eventually strip though. Keep the outright power down and you won't break anything. You'll find that say 280 would be more useful through a lsd than 320 through an open diff.
  14. Somebody is bound to come along soon and say that's the wire for the flux capacitor or something else completely different soon anyhow!
  15. The only consistent Yel/Blk that I can find (at a quick glance!) is for the cabin fan. But the fan module does have a feed to/from the A/C system if it is fitted... Maybe it's an interlock to only turn on A/C if the fan is running?
  16. Well curiosity has taken over and I dug out my wiring diagrams and on all years (according the to the drawings I have) the wires for the oil pressure switches are either blue/black or yellow. I'm having a look to see what the yellow/black is now!
  17. I "Think" on some later IE 94 and on cars, that wire is there in the loom as something to do with aircon. But I thought the wire was black with a yellow stripe and not yellow with a black stripe as you said. It's a power feed for sensors and takes it's feed from the fan module. As I said, this is what I think it is, not necessarily what it actually is.
  18. There is definitely some vacuum in that servo hose! Nice work.
  19. The 2.5 inch items Halfords sell work.
  20. Eventually got around to giving the car a clean and took some photos. If you're looking for a tatty looking Corrado on standard suspension with shiny wheels, then look no further than this thread!
  21. Yeah. There was a variation between hose connections but the vast majority were banjo fitment.
