Yes they are interchangeable. Soldier on. Plenty people have used the A3 block so don't be put off by it. The more hassle you have now, the more you'll appreciate it when it's all built up and running! I still love mine and it's "ONLY" the 2.8 version. NOT that that is a bad thing.

It's up high behind the air transfer part of the airbox. The box section that is partly venturi shaped if you get what I mean. From memory I think those clip in place to a bracket which had 2 screws into the large cross beam below the windscreen bottom edge. I'm sure those are the ABS relays but I don't have those in my car anymore so apologies if my explanation is a bit hap hazard!
-
Those relays have a mount up behind the air box.

If you never knew, you'd say that was chrome dipped. Nice.

I bet! Not sure how much pedals are these days? If you are concerned about the vibrations, look into mounting the pedal on some rubber to help insulate it from bumps.
-
No, I think it's just that the internals of some of the floor mounted pedals just isn't up to scratch. Maybe the vibrations from being on the floor aren't helping but the hanging type pedals aren't exactly immune to vibrations in their mounting method.
-
Nothing is impossible mate. If a reset cures it, then I'd be tempted to look at component failure over wiring failure. I've heard more stories of floor mounted fail compared to the hanging type. Which one do you have?

Was the replacement pedal new?

I was watching it yesterday as normal?

If the line up turned to Chris Harris, Chris Evans and James May, I believe it would make for excellent viewing. Who knows, you might find it's presented by passionate people who care about their subject and can pass that across in a relaxed manner which would often be humorous. Currently 1 knob, his angry side kick and a bloke trying to even it out a bit.

Lamborghini with no roads, have you seen how many supercars Jersey has with a 30mph limit? Lol :-)

Keyword: Deterrent. Like it or not, there are people who may in the not so close future who may feel the need to threaten the UK, it's allies and it's sovereign terroritry. We rarely go into a war which requires tanks but we still have those. These days it's armoured guns on tracked vehicles and not tanks. We have aircraft and ships that can fulfill the tank role but we still have them. You also can't say it's fact that we will never use nuclear weapons. It's impossible to say that. Unlikely to use, I agree but you never ever know what the future brings. After all we were allies with Russia not more than 15 years prior to the cold war.

Those lip seals are real Sods sometimes, looks like you got it in ok, hopefully that's the end of any potential leaks!

£800 for a phone? What the actual shuddering eff! I love a bit of tech but the amount of high end products I would prefer to spend that kind of money on instead.

Just be careful that they are chocolate and not werthers originals. Different type of Sweet!

What's next? Sharknado?

Good choice!

Well I'm hopefully going to be working out of Aberdeen from next year. So long as my taxes aren't affected negatively, I'm not concerned. I do think separation from the UK can only harm the Scottish. What about mortgage payments made in Sterling once the Scottish government loose the right to trade in it.

Pressing it won't kill your car, just a Corrado out there somewhere!
-
Everytime you press that switch, a Corrado will break down somewhere. I used to have one of those! Luckily I replaced it with a nice blank!

Won't be RS4 unless it's old me thinks!

Yes you can. The cables are only fed one at a time with 12v. The different thicknesses of the wire are to do with potential current that the fan would draw. Slim lines only draw 8 or 9 amps in comparison to the 40 the stock fans draws.

I don't think you can run mk4 abs due to the physical size of the servo. You don't need it for the conversion though. I've got the later teves20 mk3 abs system in mine and I like that if you still want to change from stock for whatever reason. Cost wise, United Motorsport did all of my ecu work for £100, no remap though but you don't need to remap it to run well. I did my own wiring for 2 reasons, 1 I knew what I had or hadn't done and 2, I had read and continue to read horror stories of so called professional outfits making pigs ears of something relatively simple. If you are concerned about doing the wiring yourself then ask rub_jonny on club gti. He is a wiring guru! He does have a bit of a waiting list but knows his stuff. Otherwise I think Vince at stealth will do a loom for you. These are the only people I'd trust to do it based on experience. This thread has all the information you need.
