I know it doesn't help you but knowing your way around set or spanners or at least willing to give a job a go saves so much cash. I've not spent 6k in total on mine, probably only around half that and it includes the purchase price of the car! Considering everything it has had done to it, that can't be bad.

Just make sure you get the right b12s.

That metal disc is well bonded on and if your using pliers to remove it, you're risking trashing the screen. Take it to a windscreen place, they're the experts who do it day in day out. WD40 is a water dispersant (hence the WD part). It won't break down glue...

Who did your immobiliser defeat?

Have you plugged it into vcds? Mine ran fairly poorly before I had the rear lambda bungs fitted but still went through the emissions OK. The lambdas were actually fitted on mine though, just hanging secure in the bay so in effect they were seeing fresh air and not missing entirely. So much better with the rears in but I'm umming over whether a vince map without the rear sensors would be good or not for me.

Just bought my 6th Corrado! (since 1994!)

I used to have a vr6 with an early dash but late body. Registered early August 92 if memory serves me right. My current vr6 is late interior and exterior and was registered late Dec 92 so they definitely didn't make many early/late combos at all. -

Things like stalks are not handed and are universal. The kit came with the stalk and its plug and then there is another loom which is about a meter long which would normally have to plug into the vehicle loom. Mine was adjusted to make it the extra 3 meters or so longer it needed to be to get to the 24v ecu and have the LED for the dash light fitted. Not difficult, just time consuming. -

Fixed my oil sensor problem and had a go out with the cruise. Very weird sensation in a Corrado to have it maintain its own speed! -
Try and go in from underneath or use a deep socket.

Going Saturday and Sunday myself.

Speak for yourself mic!

I only ask as there are some springs out there that sit a lot lower at the rear. My set being one such set!

Ebay.de Swifty! I've not tested it as I have a intermittent clutch pedal switch problem which decided it wanted to be a fault today. Oh and my high pressure oil switch has died leaving me with annoying beep so it hasn't gone anywhere yet! -

Another day another update. I've got another light on my dash. Any clues what it is for? Need another clue? How about this? -
Do you have a picture of them fitted to the car?
-
My innocent mind doesn't need to know then!

Is the definition of Sea Gulling NSFW?

I'm with HIC myself this time around. I couldn't fault them or their telephone manner. Not had to claim luckily so don't know what they are like should the worst happen.

Changing heater matrix without removing dash?

Seriously, take it out. You'll save yourself from the lacerations if nothing else! -
How very fitting Mic! Looking forward to the project Dave, when is the turbo going in?
-
Well, you need a fault in order to diagnose it. Congrats on the new car though. G60s are becoming rare old creatures.
