Well, due to not having any time or funds to get near this, the fact that it needs welding in a few places and a full respray, I've decided I'm going to break this, keep a few bits as spares and just save up for one that doesn't need as much work. I don't like having to do it but no other option really as it's already half taken apart. I seriously underestimated the affect having a baby has on things!

I managed to order some in the end. I'm fairly sure you have to enter your postcode with no spaces. I think that's what I did to register in the end.

Middle pulley is for oil pump so that doesnt matter. Should be ok now.

Here's a pic of the cam on mine. The tippex is just highlighting the groove on the cam pulley and it's lined up with an arrow directly behind it. Mines a 2 litre but yours is probably the same.

Do you have a new timing belt? The box should show how to line up the timing before removal.

Actually I might leave this at the moment. A 16v has come up on ebay local to me that I'm interested in but if I miss it I'll probably come back to you. Hope thats ok. Cheers

Or if you have enough room you may be able to release the tabs from behind with bumper still in place.

Theres 6 tabs rob. If bumper is still on, you might have to carefully slide a screwdriver in between splitter and bumper to help removal. A lot easier with the bumper off though as you can get at the tabs from behind and u dont risk damaging paint

Is it a standard engine? If so I think you'd be wasting your money. Standard part is fine for the job.
