Does anyone know any couriers that operate on a saturday? Seems like they're all monday to friday.

Hello all, I recently purchased a 2.0 16v as a long, long term project. I have been thinking about an engine rebuild and was wondering if anyone on here has done it and if they had a list of the parts required for it e.g. bearings, gaskets, seals, just so I could start to build up a stash? I was also looking at the tuning guide on here. Are kr cams just a straight swap for the originals and how is polishing / gasflowing of the throttle body carried out? Any help or other ideas would be appreciated!

If you love it just take your time and get it back to the way you had it bit by bit when you have the funds. Sounds like you've been taking care of it and it's got some nice bits. I'd hang onto it if you don't need cash badly and have somewhere to keep it.

I think this should be in the breaking section but anyway.. Have you got a passenger side front fog and indicator without any cracks?

Just won a 2.0 16v on ebay and collecting in Newcastle on Saturday. Cannot wait! Been almost a year since I sold my vr and there's been a corrado shaped void in my life ever since. Havn't viewed it so I'm hoping the seller is an honest fella. Not bothered though as I bought it to tinker with and learn more about them. I had an identical valver in Ireland and always regretted selling it. The vr didnt do it for me like the 16v so when this came up I had to have it!

I've spotted a nice one of these for sale and I think I'm going to go have a look at it. My knowledge of VAG cars apart from corrados is limited to say the least! I see there are 2 types of 2litre engines: the FSI and 20V. Is there any way to tell the difference between these two or how to find out which type this car might have? Also, it's supposed to be a sport model so what features should it have if it is a sport? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Had a set of these on my vr. One of the reasons I bought the car. Lovely wheel that look perfect on a corrado imo.
