  1. depends on the corrado, very early c's have the same column spline count as the mk2, later c's have an adaptor pressed on which has more splines. These adaptors can be pulled off with a puller.
  2. Go on fella! Big thanks for the supply of beer over the weekend. Enjoyed your company.
  3. Spoke to J last night, think he still has his work cutout to complete everything that he wants to get done today without taking any pics........ but I can tell ya they look nice!!!!

Eggs a b1tch to get off, I had some trick or treaters hit my ZXR900, they hit the instruments and the rad, took forever to get off and left marks afterwards. I say get it off asap.
  12. I have to disagree with ya Jim, I had a short shift on my G60 and now have one on my VR, I rate a nicely working short shift as the best mod I have ever done on the Corrado. The standard length of shift is comparable to a transit van! The B&M shift seems to have a bad name. I have always used a modified standard lever, with a bit of fine tuning and some MT90 its lovely. I'm using a diesel keek cross short shift too. I have also left the weight off which lightens the shift, it now clicks into gear.
  13. mate has a 20v seat toledo, goes nice and sounds v nice. He had a 10v before, reckons the 10v was more torque'ie. I'd rate the v5's as a nice relaxing engine with a bit of poke.
  14. I now have vagcom with both 16 pin and 2x2 adaptor. Live near Bournemouth and work in Southampton so if you near and need help please shout. Cheers Andy
  15. Dont think I'll be doing more than twice! its a fair old job, but felt good finishing it! The switches are pictured in one of my earlier posts. I'm thinking about making my setup climate control from a mk4 golf.
  16. Congrats Andy. I'd be interested to see how you got around the difference in shelf sizes between the o/s and n/s areas for routing the pipes. Mine were routed through the n/s shelf and it totally mucks up everything else. One thing, do make sure that the ABS pump cables go nowhere near the aicon rubber pipes. I've found after 5 years of it that the pipes chill the ABS wiring to the ABS brain so much that frost forms, condenses, runs as water along the ABS brain's cable by capillary action. Once the sheathing is soaking, it then acts as a water pump which then knackers the ABS brain. The pipes are no where near the ABS wiring, where do your pipes run?? Havent modded the undershelf yet, but will just be a case of making it shorter. Dont under stand what you mean about the o/s as I didnt need to disturd that side at all.
  17. Finally got a couple of spare mins to add the wiring diagram and some pics from last weekend.
  18. always get bits of road grit hitting the wing mirror then my face....can really hit sometimes, been lucky and not had one in the eye yet!
