Just found this -DOH! viewtopic.php?f=1&t=63899 Good read...
-
Thanks beastie4126 - I think it definitely looks better than the standard 3 piece...
-
I'd be very interested to see it, seems like a good idea to me & i was going to get one to help tidy the engine bay, good luck with fitting - hopefully it just drops in...
-
But does the plastic look good - i.e. better then the original 3 piece or £92 good? If you engine bay is tidy and clean I think you could justify the cost, kinda like a good frame for your favourite picture?
-
I was looking at these the other day - I take it your not impressed?
-
BRILLIANT - Thanks very much for he input guys, it's a great help & really appreciated... I have opted for a BBM Howitzer Intake System w/adapter for stock G60 chargers at the moment due to price & time restraints, but if more contract work comes through i'll do the SWG option
-
That does look great, but a little pricy maybe... Green, Jetex, Pipercross, Powertec, K&N - I'm well confused now... I can see info on VR6 & 20v threads, but nothing for G60 - a little help please someone?
-
Thanks Critical_Mass... G-Werks use the BBM Howitzer Intake kit (£122 ish) I think - does anyone know if these are good?
-
PM me your email address & i'll send you some pics from UD & hopefully be able to meet up again soon for another show...
-
FYI: Voodoo have just come back to me saying that the custom kit to fit my existing Koni coilovers will be £3480 using Accu Air Touch pad management system...

I'm looking at a kit for G60 and have been informed that cotton filters are best for supercharged engines therefore I'm looking at a Green induction kit. My problem is that they do 2 types: Single Cone costing approx. £70 & giving 2-4 BHP increase or Dynatwist System (XL) costing approx. £214 & giving 6-8 BHP increase Has anyone fitted either of these & does anyone know if the vastly more expensive Dynatwist system is worth the extra cash?

Looking good, Bling under the bonnet is something to respected - steam clean next then or something more adventurous? -
I have found these people (Voodoo Motorsport) who say they can make a kit to fit my existing Koni coilovers, there are a few options so price yet to be discussed, but i'll let you know... Luke at Plush is now the sole uk distributor for airlift products who do a corrado kit (released 1st April). The kits range from £1800 up to about 3k plus fitting depending how you spec them. 3k kits has digital management, preset ride heights, bigger compressors for quicker filling times, anti leak detection & 4 corner individual control (better handling and no cross loading on corners).

Not for your C i hope matey! it'll ruin the handling and for what? so you can scrape the sump on the ground when you park? :camp: Thanks dude & swiftkid + your right, but i just want to look into it really... My Koni coilovers have been very good to me thus far... :salute:

Thanks vwdeviant - i just love the idea of being to change ride heights to cope with bloody speed bumps etc so it's practical as well means you can have a totally stupid, lower than satan's sluts option for showing off etc...
-
I want to look into air ride, does anyone know who makes them, stocks them etc? Cheers,

Hey Adski, saw your car at UD, looked great & i have e few pics that i'll pop up sometime in the next week for everyone... -
Hey Leonard, Did you spray anything/change anything in the end - we need to see...
-
Thanks VR6, i'll do some reading...
-
I'm looking at putting in new front seats, but have been lead to believe that the main issue with this is getting the new items to fit the existing corrado brackets? I wanted to know who has put in new seats, what you used and how you did it if possible please? Thanks...

Hey Jake, Liking the ride and looking good, how are you finding the coilovers for ride quality & do yours have adjustable dampening? I went with Koni coilovers and love the handling, although I still think about installing an air ride just so you can go from low as F$%* to a height that can cope with urban horrors like speed bumps and pot holes etc... -
Hey Swompy, Jake is a great name by the way - Congratulations... :D
