Thanks very much colinstubbs - :notworthy:

Does anyone do a blanking plug for the wiper or is it a DIY job?
-
Thanks VR6 - ha ha ha... I think I'll have another look tomorrow and see where exactly the leak is & also price up just blanking it out - i'm warming to the idea of getting rid of the lot and keeping things clean, simple and save weight/hassle/complications etc...

Just found that my rear wiper is leaking (not sure if it where the rubber meets the plastic or where the plastic meets the metal?) on the wash and making the boot wet, question now is do i spray it with rubber solution and hope it fixes it or take the rear wiper, motor and everything out and blank it off?

Liking it, are you going to get it really low and wide stance too?

I saw a white Rado (Reg started N88 or something similar?) in Chilworth (Hampshire A27) heading toward North Baddesley on Saturday at about 1:30 - I was the passenger in a black skoda octavia estate driving in the opposite direction and waving like a loony. Anyone?

I got a tap n die kit from Machine Mart today and got the passenger side done, Bloody tricky holding the spring out the way, but I'm sure now I have the experience the drivers side will be easier - thanks again for the parts, good job! -
" electric adjustment motors are also still available, which are common part with some MK4s and other newer VWs. Even the interior headlight level adjuster panel for Corrados is still available! It's about £50 mind! But if you want to spec up your Corrado " Good work kevhaywire, can you tell where you got hold of your motor adjustment from please?

In order to fit the headlight adjustors I had to take the eyebrow grille out & must have not fixed it back well cos it blew off on the motorway?! Seeing as i was miles from home i found a Halfords and put this in as temp measure to stop too much dirt getting into the engine bay - I like it and am now working on a new eyebrow grille with a mesh front - what do you think?
-
Your car is stunning, I love the black interior contrasting with the exterior paint and so well looked after! Nice collection of cars too...
-
Sorry, but yes you do - it's really not hard though...

I didn't find a switch on mine? There are 3 tabs holding the reflector in place within the box, simply use a flat head screw driver to press against the tab on each and gentle pull the reflector out the front as below: IMG_2739v1.jpg[/attachment:38v4uymg] I then fitted mine with new headlight adjustors that i bought from Arz Tuning (my local VW Dealer is CR*P) see here - http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/advanced_ ... &x=64&y=11 and then put them back together. Park about 6 feet away from a wall next to your friends car and correct the beam so yours matches theirs as near as possible and job done...
