hello andyherd, being a complete mechanical & electrical idiot i have no idea what HID means - can you explain in english? i have been looking at some of the threads about lights and reading about loom upgrades and so on, but have yet to get my head round what it all means my lights are not in great condition so i was contemplating replacing them, but have no idea if i should put in originals with new wiring and bulbs or go for 3rd party parts as a complete replacement i.e JOM???

Saturday 13th December finally got and fitted the Lupo GTI wiper kit - HURRAY Also had to replace the 6 inch U bend fuel pipe as the old one was inferior & rotten - Now drives much better and I can see when it's raining, which is helpful May need to work on improving the night vision next by looking at those dodgy headlights...

Thanks for your help, it turned out to be the 6 inch U shaped hose. Whoever replaced it last time used some cheap rubber that wasn't even a fuel hose and had no webbing in, It had split. I got a metre of hose from a dealer and cut it to length - job done

I turned the engine over this morning and was imediately greated by the stench of pertol fumes, taking a few minutes to wake up and consider the issue I then got out the car to find that what looks like both petrol and oil are being pumped out of the engine bay in every possible direction?! The entire engine bay, including the padding in the inside of the lid, is dripping with liquid?! I'm thinking that I'm going to have to get it towed to the garage and have the entire engine cleaned before they can even find the problem - which is going to be pricey. Any ideas anyone, please...

Hello Sonicriot13 I have no idea when the charger was last looked at, I'll have to check the paperwork. I am considering taking her over to the UK to get this done sometime early next year, I have been examining the g werks site and am thinking that may be the way to go? The car is in the garage today having a few bits done, but it's not a specialist garage. Just a friend iof a friend who won't rip me off...

DONE Top up Oil + New Coolant & Steering fluid - garage drain & replace both 19/08/2008 - Re-Tumble locks to match ignition key 27/09/2008 - New stereo - Kenwood KDC-W5041UG 10/10/2008 - New mats 10/10/2008 - New Spark plugs, still not fitted them yet?! 19/10/2008 - Fit MOMO pedals 04/11/2008 - Treat windows with RainX 11/11/2008 - Fit newer gear stick and gear knob + newer Ashtray 15/11/2008 - New front tyres (Toyo VR 195/50-15) + balancing & tracking 18/11/2008 - Replace Spark plugs (Bosch off Internet are wrong so get garage NGK for now) 18/11/2008 - Air screw missing, garage fit temp replacement 01/12/2008 - Throttle cable comes off, garage collect & fix + fit new VAG air screw and set 13/12/2008 - Upgrade to Lupo GTi Wipers & Arms :clap: 13/12/2008 - Replace U bend fuel hose TO DO Replace wiper motor Re-wire & Upgrade headlights (Angel eyes?) - new loom here, install to follow Get exhaust checked / replaced (now delayed due to funds) Install new lower coilovers (koni coilovers coming soon) Sort out the small dings in the doors Clean up the bumpers and replace the lower lights, new tinted rear lights on order Get front passenger wing re-sprayed, maybe whole car?

Thought I might publish some pics of my Rado and get a TO DO list up here too. That should help push me to get everything done...

I have ordered the Lupo upgrade for the front, price TBC by the dealer... What do you do with the rear, do Lupo's fit this too?

Nice motor, I love a white corrado and white cars in general at the moment. Is it cloth or leather inside? Also I like the alloys, they could sure be a lot worse. What would you replace them with if you could?

Can you not get a newer VAG aerial like the ones on current Audi's? You know the cool, flat to the roof kinda one that almost looks like a shark fin?

Hello all, I'm confused, had a look on the usual sites and can"t find Lupo wipers. The link above to ebay doesn't work - where the heck can I buy some and do you have to get specific Lupo wipers or can I just get any model?

I had a look and did a search and can't find any info on induction kits? I have been looking on www.europerformance.co.uk and contemplating the idea of either a K&N 57i Induction Kit or the Powertec SL1 Induction Kit - has anyone done this and what would you recommend please?

Thinking about doing mine (still on original) I have had a brief look, but have no idea to be honest + most seem so blinking expensive? Was contemplating KW Variant 1 & getting someone like G-Werks to fit them?

I noticed that at the rear of the car (page 1) you have extended the bodywork between the lights and dropped the number plate down to the bumper - did you do that yourself or can you buy a new panel for the boot?

I bit the bullet and got to it on Sunday, I decided to take the passenger side route. I took the parcel tray out and left the glove box in, it was a bit tricky to get in to the back of the stereo but I got it done... My new head unit has a USB in so I was thinking of putting the ipod dock/stand in the ash tray as a mod, any ideas?

If I was you I would get my dealer to order me the barrel repair kit (£48) then take it home and do it myself. It took me roughly 1 hour to figure out the dowel pattern, but once it's done you simply repeat. You get loads of parts in the repair kit + you can keep the old barrels and bits you remove, this means you'll have plenty of bits left to do one of your friends cars too...
