Thats the plan for the rear, going half inch wider with OE BBS outer rims but hoping to retain stock (looking at least) arches. The standard 7.5s really fill the front arches well but look slightly tucked in at the rear. The rims will be polished as will the centre caps, the bolts chromed and the centres painted. I have a mint stock set too, so it will give the car 2 distinct looks whilst still remaining OEM+

Yeh mine were 35 on 205s but i'm interested in the slightly lower ET. Certainly 27 max

Is anyone on here running 8x17 or perhaps wider with an offset of around 25 or less on a VR6 C. If so what tyres are you running and what arch mods if any have you needed. Will they be Ok in the standard arches with perhaps a little rolling or trimming? Pics would be good too
-
Cars looking sweet, what offset are the rears did you say they were 16x9, also what tyres are you running, have you had any arch work done?

OK Black is back, i've got my baby back... I prefer the black too, but the car had a colour coded grille and chrome badge (dealer fit) when I got it so I has a new one sprayed up but didn't fancy the chrome badge. Its been sat in my garage for over a year so I thought i'd try it. its now back in the garage. ps I think you're all really mean about my light surrounds

Yes or No? I prefer OE Black TBH but what do you think?

Yeh customer nailed it when told it needed running in, and didn't mind that he f***ed it

Its actually a 1.9 and I undestand the power is hoped to be circa 500 bhp

And on this occasion I don't mean MILF, but the Polo, small but class 8) Couple of pics from All Types.

A nice little touch picked up in Austria, good quality and illuminated gear map in OE lighting colour.

They look good for the money, would like to see a few options.

Seems research and a group buy is in order.

Its the Police that brought the prosecution against him remember so its hardly a case of 'looking after their own' or 'one rule for one'. It was the court who cleared him based on his expertise and the need for familiarity and confidence in the tools of his trade. Personally I think he was just caught out finding out what it'll do on a quiet motorway and should have been convicted accordingly as it wasn't authorised or in response to an urgent job.

Spent all day cleaning the car for the All Types show in North Wales this weekend. 8) However it seems the MK1 Polo may be ready in time so the Corrado will probably be staying at home. So not to waste my efforts I took some pics for my archive

Back on Friday to show, couple of Cs for you.

Apparently so, I have 2 sets, I made the mistake of letting a third set go :(

I'm a sucker for punishment. Paul Horrocks has kindly agreed to be parted with his BBS RS 301s Thanks Paul. All that remains is a quick refurbishment (heavy irony on the quick) and this 1 of 500 sets of 301 splits should be looking cool. To keep me motivated and to document progress I thought i'd start a refurb thread.

Looking good, really good choice, can't wait to see them on 8)

Gordy: VR6 engine cover as described, well packed. :D

Took the opportunity to take a couple of quick pics on the way to VW Summer Nights today :)

Sounds promising, Thanks Kev. Speedlines of course will be a altogether different matter

What wheel fitment issues are there with the 312mm brakes. ie size and designs?
