Are your perimeter bolts the stamped originals or aftermarket replacements?

I'd go 195/45 if you are looking at polishing and slamming, will give the car much more impact, the 205s look like balloons! The Speedlines are only 6.5 J so 195 is plenty wide enough as long as the speed rating etc is fine.

BBS RS 301s are all PCD 5x100 ET 33 7.5x17 and the outer rim only sticks out about half an inch from the face of the wheel. The dish curves back in first creating the look of extra depth. With your proposed 2.5" dish you would have a 9.5" wide wheel with an ET of 9 and it would require serious arch mods.

For comparison, with the same wheels I had no arch mods but the car doesn't ride as low.

Not without arch mods, if your car is v. low it may need slight arch mods with the standard RS 301s. It is ride height dependant though if your high or firm enough then the arch may never come into contact with the tyre.

Its really interesting how the different colours split opinions and the same is true of all modifications, in truth it's all personal opinion and no one thing is universally liked/disliked in any one moment in time but tastes constantly evolve, change and reinvent.

What are you going for A20 LEE for the brake upgrade?

Yeh, stopped making them there is a replacement tyre now, you might be lucky and find old stock but I tried in October without success. Might as well get the new model sooner or later.

FK Konigsports on mine too, very happy.

Love the black and silver, without question its awesome but i'm not certain it works as well on a silver C as with other coloured Cs.

Always thinking....., had about six sets on my previous GTI Cab. Only have 4 sets for the C ( 2 sets of Speedlines)

The RSs are my all time favourites thats why I was considering the Gold ( as an additional set, not redoing the Siver set) :oops: So thanks for the generous offer :lol: but no thanks

I still have the both the BBS RS 301s in Silver and the RH ZW1s and will swap between the 2 throughout the year. But you know how it is in idle moments, your thoughts start to wander....
