  1. Choice no. 3 gets my vote, others are too modern for a C IMO and would do it no favours.
  2. Absolutely must be the best kept wheel secret. a cool wheel that packs the arches, suits the C and is affordable. Will suit the car perfectly.
  3. I like 'em and at less than £100 a corner they are 8)
  4. I'm not exactly sure why you got bored or fell out with your Corrado, but in your budget you are unlikely to get something equally fun in performance and appearance without the financial burden. Perhaps the TDI which offers a very different vehicle with many benefits is a good choive, I personally like A4 Avants good choice petrol or diesel.
  5. Nice and subtle, so little of whats changed is obvious you over look the mods. Almost missed the arches
  6. I think the 2s make a nice change. The 3s are too obviously PORSCHE if that makes sense ie. wannabe. The others are more subtle
  7. I think if we all fit replica STORM bages then the theives won't target them the same and prices of the badge will fall.

    Ronal R7's

Forget the 225s you'll have big arch issues without costly mods
  9. Most are 150 bhp later ones 180bhp it develops more elsewhere in the VAG range.
  10. I'm not sure I understand the question, but yes in 2002 Golf GTIs were supplied with 1.8 litre 20v Turbo engines.
  11. Just started a quick spring clean, wash, road grime and salt from arches and a general tidy. Still plenty to do to make it presentable for the Sprimg/Summer. Its not been waxed for 12 months  For the record 15" Speedlines do a Corrado no favours. A spare set as Winter wheels however :thumbleft:
  12. I'm flying over. theres 13 of us from LANCS going :afro:
  13. Colour coded with diamond cut rim or polished rim.
  14. Not sure if this is relevant so if i'm wide of the mark feel free to ignore me. I know there was some concerns mentioned about the rear wheel camber when converting a Corrado to 4wd. A friend has just bought a Golf 4 Motion and when making enquiries about lowering was informed there are camber issues on the rear axle when lowered, resulting in uneven tyre wear. Apparently some firms have developed a solution and developed a kit which allows camber adjustment. This made me wonder if the same solution would work on the Corrado? and solve the issues. I was told AmD and Forge Motorsport are 2 suppliers? Is this the product? Would it work? http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/conten ... uct=FMAUTB
  15. I have one of these now, OE style, all good :)
  16. You can't say its boring just a cleaned version of standard and if I know Steve the standard will be v. high with some unique touches no doubt, i'm confident it will look far better in the metal than in these pics. I like it but as I said earlier i'm glad its been kept subtle. I agree about the rims he should swap them with me for my RH ZW1s
  17. New top mounts would be a good idea.
  18. I have always been impressed by Premiers cars and whilst this car probably isn't done any justice by the pic the colour, wheels, door handles and colour are all suitable and subtle changes to the C formula. What I think it does demonstrate is that the Corrado is so very right is standard guise that is hardly financially or visually worthwhile to try more serious mods to the body. Ride height, wheels, suspension, interior and a little styling cleaning and any performance upgrades desired are all a good C need. More are spoilt than improved and at significant cost and only rarely is it succesful and never good financil sense both in terms of outlay and reselling price. I'm not been old and fuddy duddy and yes Corrado owners are often very conservative but the car just doesn't benefit from too much pissing about on the styling front.
  19. Looks a good clean example, not sure on the colour though
  20. Some stockists still have them but they aren't making any more AFAIK
