I'm adamant Sean that I have the wrong rear springs for my B12 kit, can you recall the Eibach Part Nr by any chance - Also any way of telling without dismantling them?

Afraid not, changed jobs about 15 months ago so no longer have access to a Plating Shop - Also people weren't returning their old sets to me for refurbishment to keep the cycle going.

92 and some 93 VR6's were on distributor before VW changed over to coilpack.

Should be a better long term prospect as I was told ages ago that the larger bore making it 2.9 was the reason that cylinders 1 + 6 were problematic?

There is (or was?) a thread in the wiki about fitting a TDI 5th gear. I was always advised that the ideal combination was a 3.68 diff from the 16V/G60 along with a G60 3rd gear and TDI 5th gear with a slightly lightened steel flywheel.
