Jake, Camskill are supposedly one of the best on price, try Kumho as below - Come highly recommended by a few people on the forum!! http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... b0s99p3596 Ian :D
-
Jake, Agree with aide, that sounds expensive - Your choice though!! Ian.
-
Not had any problem either since Vince fitted my KR Cam to a 150K 2.0 16V - Starts normally and idles beautifully when warm without any hunting, etc. Ian :D
-
Billy bargain - Looks good!! Ian :D
-
Sorry, bum link - Try this instead: http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-pr ... EM&Range=1 Ian.

This is what I use, really pleased with it - Often referred to as green "snot" like: http://www.autoglym-shop.com/?gclid=CIa ... 4wodsXh-eA Ian :D

I thought they had stopped trading, but not absolutely sure? Ian

My 2.0 16V is the same engine spec as you (KR Cam, etc) with 150K on the clock - Has just had Oil + Filter change plus flush and refill with G12 and on the motorway the water is around 90c whilst the oil is normally between 104 > 108c. Hope this helps. Ian :D

Corrado VR6 and Passat VR6 break pads - is it the same?
GlosterOx replied to Mawrick's topic in Drivetrain
If it is a 1994 > 1997 Passat VR6, according to AVS Parts they are the same Rear Pads. Ian :D -
Prefer the look of these Rear Lights, looking very tidy!! Ian :D
-
Looking tidy, keep up the good work!! Ian :D

Both the Top + Bottom parts of my Manifold were done, def look better!! Ian :D

Jake, Got mine off E Bay already Powder Coated - There are 2 companies near my work who can do it, perhaps get a price off them and I'm happy to deliver/collect it from them if you drop it off @ mine? 1) QS Enamellers, Nailsworth - 01453 834782 2) Mikris Finishers, Dudbridge - 01453 763873 Let me know, Ian :D
-
Thanks Ian, will give him a call some point this week. Was he the chap that done yours? No, mine is Powder Coated - As Billcor says, it is probably the better option as it is a much more durable finish with no polishing!! Ian :D
-
Jake, The company we use at work is High Class Metal Finishers, Nr Stonehouse - Guys name is Kevin (T) 01453 825464. Really good polisher but you might have to wait a while!! Ian :D

Tom, Last time I checked, the Centre Cap was still available from VW so would be worth checking. If not, I have a spare but the centre VW badge is quite faded but the rest is fine. Let me know if you need it. Ian :D

What Inlet Manifold did you get Jake, is it a polished or powder coated one - Pics? Ian. -
Not sure if is a help, but when Vince @ Stealth tried to fit my KR Inlet Cam he couldn't get everything lined up as required and as previously suggested the woodruff key was starting to shear off!! Ian :D
-
Creased me up when they doctored James Mays stereo and Clarkson pinched the r/c, setting it off at random times - Also it was guaranteed that him and the Volvo would fail on the 3AM decibel test!! Ian

"Oh, and I may also possibly have the only Corrado in the world with a fully working Sunroof  as after replacing the seal and giving it a good lubing up with genuine white grease it's now working fine" Pat, My sunroof works fine also but the seal has seen better days - What sort of job was it to replace it? Ian
