  3. The auto wiring is all on the left hand side of the car as you probably know by now..... Just take it out start from the loom which foes through the bulk head to engine bay bring it back into the cabin then remove auto ecu just trace all the wires back to the drives side and remove, I removed everything from memory, it's not hard and it saves a ton of. Wiring being left into car....

  11. i thought the central locking was vacum operated??????the big plastic orange air hose operates the central locking?? the wires the the handle are the same as the ones to the bonnet washer jets ...as in heated washer jets?? i honestly thought they were heated locks to stop from freezing??
  12. that wiring is for the heated door locks to remove the wiring there is a plug located at the bottom of the door split the plug and then the wire is also clipped on the inner of the door, with a metal retaining clip just prise it off and you will get the handle easy............... any probs give me a shout.

  15. dave nice little update there.. when i fitted my loom i fitted it from engine bay to compartment that way i didnt have to wedge any massive connectors through the bulk head , true the grommets are a pain to fit back in some do some dont at all... we need a definitive guide for different looms as there seems to be a little confusion between certain types , aircon /no air con etc the headlight part which you dont need etc was your corrado a vr6 to start with? only ask because of your sig :) have you got it all working now? and did you get the immob delete done? cheers!

  21. i have just got off the phone to robrado on here he has just told me about this karl! looking at the pictures hang on first WTF?!!! that was in no way me at all seriosly not a chance why ....why i just can not comprehand why anyone would stick the roof rail rubers down?? why would you do it? there is no need for it to be done even when they need replacing like mine did which i informed you of in the car park at gordano services im shocked at this it looks like its ruined the laquer on the roof has it not? i just dont get it why would anyone do it? they slide on a clip at the front and are a push clip down on the rear they sit then in the gutters dont even need the double sided tape on them really that is just there for extra security.... what is all that black stuff?? looks like glue or silicone? the white stuff isnt compound is it from polishing?? i always took the roof rails out when polishing so as not to ruin the black bits as a rotary can mark them.... has it been to a garage and they would have could have done it? i am gob smacked ---------- Post added at 11:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 AM ---------- quick fixes and dodgey repairs? what do you mean? ---------- Post added at 11:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:15 AM ---------- thank you fla yes a lot of time and effort went into this car and no i dont like to think ive bodged and quick fixed anything ive read about the brake flexies on here there is no where to attach brake flexies on the cheap fk coilovers the mot station tied them back for saftey better than nothing i was told but the shock s should have had a metal c shape bit to hold a gromet which the lines would have sat but they didnt..
  22. manual gear box manual pedal box slave cylinder and associated pipework manual gear stick and shifter cables shifter tower connecter for reverse lights (not needed if converting to obd2) gearbox oil coolant pipe from crack pipe to header tank, throttlebody stater motor and bolts flywheel clutch thats about it.
  23. if you were more local id do it for you you should really do it your self it is that easy.... one nut at the top and one bolt at the bottom of each rear shock one nut at the top and two at the bottom of each front shock thats the basics of it of course there is a little more to it than that but its just a case of remembering which order you took the bits off id also buy 2 x new top mounts with bearings while your at it just to be satisfied they are changed and for the sake of £25 for a pair you just as well if you want to give it a go il talk you through it on the phone
