  1. never found out what that was about if im honest as using the loom everything plugged in the aux pump works and the fans cut in and out as they should so dont really know why you would have to add extra wiring..... that was never confirmed..... rams also asked the same question but has also since found out that everthing works so why the extra wires? can anyone shed any light to this at all? cheers
  2. both sides of the sunroof mech are some shineyish magnesium alloy bracket type slider things remove headlining remove black rectanglular plastic plugs from the end of the sunroof mech guides at the rear of the mech slide out the sunroof panel might need a little tug push be carful of it snagging so hold the flappy bit down then you can see the mech properly from inside the car, open roof close roof the magnesuim bits are more than likely snapped or there are some little not very noticable brackets off of them which are probably snapped which aid the roof panel to go up and down short version the mech is shagged and you need a new one not fixable. (well probably could be by someone very patient and if the parts are available ? but when you see what i mean you will end up just getting a new mech. hope this helps? nate ---------- Post added at 07:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:22 AM ---------- to add to the confusion in a closed position the shiney bits look perfect they crack along the most ridiculous bit and when you open the roof they then seperate

  5. After a week of getting messed about by the buyer one druken 1 am phone call and a no show the car is still very much for sale!!! Not one viewing yet so come on folks if you want a clean rust free rado come get it!

Glad you got it sorted If you have time would you mind just listing the faults/ problems you had and then the solutions for it I'm sorry I couldn't help you anymore over the phone really, excellent news it's ok now though and I'm glad you noticed the difference as it really is worth the effort!

    OBD2 problems

    Did all the Obd 2 gear come out of the same car? I would probably go down the route of deleting the immobiliser from the Ecu

  11. that goes behind the stereo. it clips to the metal shelf and holds some wires iirc the aerial wire out the way not essential but can be quite handy ..

  14. im not sure both maybe? dont know ive always understood it to be over run then boot it at the bottom of a hill then if it puffs its seals...??? not sure anyways its not bad and it doesnt happen all the time not really to worried about it as it is 17 years old now!! lol going to happen sooner or later and there are lots of options available to sort it if needed....
  15. hi karl never got to the bottom of the comp thing got one of those handy micro camera's from snap on and had a look around the bores none are scored my garage couldnt find any particular reason timing chains tensioners etc i wanted to do because evrybody talks about them theyve got to be done blah blah blah i was just following the crowd ! lol they have not been replaced iirc ever, they arnt noisey i just thought it was the next step in the project tbh i was going to follow rams 's guide on hoew to do them myself... the stem seals i wanted done because evrynow and then on over run not all the time it puffs a little smoke but clears straight away only does it if you overrun for about 1.5 miles though and again doesnt do it all the time i guess it was just whats next really maintenance wise as ive replaced just about everything you can replace on a rado at some point out of interest what TT is it? ---------- Post added at 10:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:03 PM ---------- some updated pics from this evening
  16. the rado is up for sale someone on another forum has enquired about the car but with out the plate... this has thrown me a little as i never really considerd taking the plate off the car , if it helps the sale at a lower price then i will oblige but what with the plate i know what it owes me and i would be happy getting that back but it is not to everyones liking, plus the extra transfer fees etc whats it worth? what someones willing to pay for it etc whats reasonable?

Feels quite food actually just jumping in the car knowing it's going to be ok , took the vr down to Mannheim in Germany again and some surrounding areas clocked up another 1500 miles in 5 days didn't miss a beat had a race with a lambourghini murchalago and a Porsche gt3 well not a race there was a nice stretch of bahn I was four up and couldn't fit a packet of gum in the boot we were @ about 135 and this massive orange Lamborghini came up behind me and just sat there it looked massive and aggressive (awesome) got caught in traffic and then floored it I pulled over but he didn't over take but just sat side by side laughing at each other as I had no more beans left he blipped the throttle and shot off as did the gt3 both looked awesome the misses did go mental because of the noise the rado made flat out lol over 150 on the clocks again No issues with four in the car plus luggage couple of rubs through Belgium as the roads are **** looks like they are sorting that though Fuel tasty @ 166-169-174. Really pushing E10 over there not good fuel though. Bp has 102 octane at the pumps but I didn't want to fork out for that as fuel was ridiculously price as is No issues with oil or water temps Blazing sun all trip 28-29 deg all 5 days on the way back yesterday snow three times???? WTF?! The rado is going to have a nice wash and polish at the weekend as is filthy then it's off to the garage for a bit of r&r going to treat it to timing chains tensioners and a newly rebuilt head another long burn project I just don't understand why I never see more Rados on the road even in Germany I saw mk3 golfs Bon jovi edition Europe edition Pink flyod edition Sportline cab in red MTV edition Of course r32s blah blah but mainly mercies and audis A few r8s Inc spider s6 and s4 both new lovely looking cars diablo crusing round the city centre Going back again in august might get some pics up
  20. Spotted K961NTL think it was mettallic black and angel eyes yesterday afternoon in France @ texaco filling station first time I've ever seen another corrado while being in mine! It was just parked up didn't see the driver though
  21. funny this thread comes up i had a play with one yesterday along the due-ly..... didnt paste me like i expected it to either instead he either backed off or i just nipped him but i was totally flat out no more beans @ 152 mph

Looking at some of the questions I'd have to say Still a go for me if It doesn't have the rear wiper hole and the raised bit isn't there but I personally would have to have the number plate plinth separate as all in one would look totally gash I like carbon products don't get me wrong but I also like to try and retain the original look
