I am looking for one of these. I wondered if anyone had one knocking around for collection or postage? Cheers, Ben
-
there have been a few people fabricating these over the years and I wondered if anyone was still making them or if someone had a cup holder they no longer required? Cheers, Ben

Thanks Bruno. PM sent 😎

Hi Sprinter, are these sound proofing kits still available? I would be looking for a late bonnet/VR6 set. Cheers, Ben

I am looking for roof bars that fit the Corrado. I used to have a set of the Votex ones from VW. I believe several other companies made a version. Maybe Thule most prominently. Looking for any make that will fit if someone has a set they don't use any more? Thanks guys & girls

Your Blackberry is looking lush. That engine bay is particularly fine. Not so much as a rusty screw in sight...love the scuttle trim and correct stickers in correct position👌

The annoying loose handbrake tunnel cover - a solution!

me too..will I never be rid of this addiction 😅😂 -
Im generally an advocate of oem spec, but your blackberry with those bbs rims looks sensational😎

excellent result getting the old girl going again. Another one out on the road to look for. I cant remember the last time I saw another Corrado in the wild..but then I've not really been anywhere in a year

if money was no question which car would be top of your list. ?

McLaren F1 (Mr Bean spec)..but aside from this probably the rarest iteration of a 911..probably a Singer or a timewarp 964RS -
wow! Some great documenting photos there. Hope you can share the whole process. Epic attention to detail thus far

This was my first ever Corrado. I bought it in around 2005 with I recall around 68k miles on it from the old Corrado dealer (TCS?) in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. It was in as new condition when I had it, with only a couple of previous owners. I cant remember the details of the chap I sold it to in around 2006/7 on pistonheads. I sold it to buy a 1995 Range Rover Classic that I also regret selling. Looking forward to seeing your progress with the old girl. I hope you keep her looking standard fettle. Best wishes

993 Carrera 4S (those hips/rear view) in zenith blue with a cashmere interior is my dream car this side of a McLaren F1 (though also wouldn't turn down a Ferrari F355 GTS Manuel). The Corrado VR6, for me, has always shared a few character traits with the 993 Porker: The conservative but practical germanic build style, little trick spoiler, heavy engine in the wrong place!, sunroof (getting tenuous now) and a certain character that is hard to quantify.

some of those dealer stickers bring back memories. Excellent resource for the classic car

Im usually a fan of totally oem look, but your car looks sensational. Silver always looks so right on them anyway. Particularly a fan of the Karmann grille badge. Great number plate too

well, the rear ashtray can be replaced easily with a cup holder. There were at least a couple of chaps on this forum who were manufacturing them in recent times. An essential mod for us coffee addicts.
