Looks like a reasonable kit, I think you can get a 10% discount if you're a member of Dubforce.net forum. Best to look about and see what it costs to buy the parts separately off ebay etc to work out if it is a good price.

Did a bit more tonight, not all good news though.. Got a lot of the front engine ancillaries off, decided I'm going to remove the PAS pipe on the front and clean it all up, stick a poly front mount on it etc. Also going to get the inlet off and fit another that I've got and clean all the oil off the back of the block. Nice oil leak; An even nicer bodge... And here's the bad news, it looks like my reasonably recently rebuilt charger is not so healthy :( Going to split it tomorrow and see what it looks like inside. Not sure what's going on as the lumps you can see are actually grease.. Beginning to regret this purchase more and more... will crack on tomorrow.

Yep will get a new timing belt for the charger, wouldn't want that to snap! Am I right in thinking the Continental XL120 is the one to get? Already have the SNS chip :) so I'll stick that in there. It's currently running a Jabba 68mm pulley and chip, but it was disappointingly slow really compared to the G60 Jetta I built a couple of years ago. Hopefully the cam and bigger intercooler will help make it a bit quicker. Other than the Miltek exhaust (cat back) and drilled discs it's totally standard, which is nice actually. I've got some Weitec coilovers to fit, and a set of the Girling 60 twin pot brakes which I'll put on once it's back on the road. Also got some Eibach anti-roll bars which I'd like to put on, but I'm not doing a front one again without dropping the subframe and if I'm doing that I may as well fit a CTN gearbox, lightened flywheel and clutch ... so they can wait otherwise it'll never see the road this year! New Febi water pump was ordered last night, once that's here I should have most of the bits I need. I think I'll leave that front panel in place for the moment then, as don't want to be messing with the PAS system, should be able to clean it up Ok and stick some paint on with it in-situ :)

Got my hands on a G60 a few months ago and finally started to make a little progress so thought I'd stick a thread up. Spent quite a while looking for a decent Corrado and had actually looked at this one and walked away because I thought it needed too much work. However, after viewing a few others that were even worse I went back and bought it :) Couple of pics from the advert. Unfortunately the BBS wheels weren't included in the sale so it came on a dodgy set of aftermarket alloys that have now been moved on. I was just starting it up to drive away from the sellers house and he said, 'Oh, by the way, sometimes it gets pretty warm and the light flashes, but it never overheats ...' Yeah, I should have handed the keys back and demanded my money back, but nevermind. Sure enough, if you put it under load for any amount of time the temps started to climb and was flashing at me shortly before I got home. I did test drive it, but only on the flat and obviously not for long enough. Decided I wanted to do some mods anyway so figured a new water pump and radiator would sort it out. The planned mods; - Wagner FMIC - Rallye U-bend and pipework - 630mm radiator - Schrick 268/276 - Removal of carbon canister / boost return / other un-necessary stuff - Tidy up wiring loom - New modified headlight loom (the one fitted is quite melted ) Nice and oily :s Front off Far more complicated than a Mk2 Golf.. do you have to drain the power steering system to remove the rusty piece in front of the cross member? More soon

Have you had the screen replaced today? Any rust found? Just what I'm after, but Dover is a hell of a long way from Huddersfield :(
