One crank sensor, there are knock sensors screwed to the block also (these are microphones that detect pinking / detonation and adjust the timing to prevent engine damage)

I was looking at an invoice for a Bentley the other day, a few options and the VAT came to £26K!

I went this year on the Saturday (the first time for 10 years) and it was dead, a pale shadow of its former self, 20 years ago there were more cars parked outside the TRL at 8Am than inside at mid day this year. Sunday was said to be better.

I believe the battery tray is the same as MK2 Golf and the repair panel is available. I have door cards if you're Cheshire bound?

Car manufacturers have several suppliers at anyone time, A, to keep prices down, B, to prevent supply issues (industrial disputes, catastrophic failures in production, distribution, etc) The next time you see a car transporter loaded with similar spec cars just notice how many have tyres from different manufacturers, apart from Citroen who only fit Michelin tyres because to two companies share R & D info Manufacturers would also dictate the quality of components used in the items construction more often than not to a higher spec than the norm, where the same manufacturer would use a more generic component for their own branded products sold through aftermarket suppliers. Don't believe the hype from the likes of ECP where they state same item in a different box BS, its a similar item manufactured by the same OE supplier hence why you find aftermarket parts don't last like a OE components

Oettinger tuned 1.8 20vT AGU full engine for sale
Dox replied to southerner88's topic in Parts for Sale
In 2001 a few of us on TDIclub.com arranged for UPsolute to fly over from Austria to Gti International and flash / remap 20 or so cars in a group buy (whilst over here they set up a few distributers for their maps whilst pocketing the cash for the maps). SBG had a stand with customers cars with everything from Oetinger maps to engine conversions / body kits / huge rims and tv screens etc Their prices for maps included full VAG type warranties and were £1K plus! for a generic type map. I got talking to one of the lads on stand that had the group buy map at £800ish and after I told him my map was £167 the guy nearly burst into tears. How SBG went bust with the prices they asked god only knows.......... Anyone with old copies of The Golf mag, VW audi car (VW driver / Audi driver), performance VW of around this time will have adverts inside that will quote prices and what actual parts were involved in the conversions, but a large part of the huge sums they charged were for the VAG type warranties they sold packaged into the scaremongering adverts. -
Give us some stats from your TPMS, how much variation in pressure from say your journey to work or a longer motorway trip? :)

Side lights stay on when dipped beam or main beam is selected. I'd unplug the uprated loom at the drivers headlamp and plug the original loom back into the headlamp for a trial. It could also be the column switch at fault EDIT I have an early headlamp and an early column switch if you want to try them - I'm 10 mins from J16 M6

Oil is at a higher pressure than the coolant so it will migrate to the coolant side when the engines running, when the engine is stopped the coolant remains pressurised and seeps back the opposite way. To test a heat exchanger Plug one side of the coolant outlets and put a tyre valve in the other, pressurise with a foot pump with the exchanger in a bucket of water and watch for bubbles

So buy a cheap running car and got the whole kit and caboodle in one go. I believe AGU is a big port head so I doubt you'll lose anything if you resell

KAD is looking for one in a similar spec?
