Have a look at the condition of the wheel sensors and the reluctor rings on the front hubs and rear disks. Clean off any rust and look for cracks and splits in the rings

I have one, but I'd have thought if the problem was main beam only the wheel stalk would be the problem? A used one would most likely have some voltage drop, the one I have is Hennys old one he used with an uprated loom
