  1. I've changed my fb name a few times, got a ban for using Jim Royle (I'd changed my name on the same account from Juan Kerr) a few years ago, rejoined the same day under another pseudonym.. Keyo Corrado has a good ring to it? I had a genuine account but got sick of reading about friends! having a cup of tea and a biscuit....
  2. For Sale 1977 Vw Brasilia - Freshly Imported - VW Forum - VZi, Europe's largest VW, community and sales (volkszone.com)
  3. My passenger side hub was stuck to the CV, I took the CV off its spline and used a 20T press to move it
  4. Should be aircooled? Never officially imported to the UK. Volkswagen SP2 - Wikipedia A standard car would be more money Volkswagen Brasília - Wikipedia
  5. Unless there's a earth connection elsewhere on the fan its a two speed, you could wire it with an external resistor to make it 3, but you'd need to know fan speeds then make a decision whether to make an extra slow speed or make a speed between the 2 existing ones then fit an appropriate sized resistor.
  6. So 450, 250, 80 are Watts, I’d assumed incorrectly they were RPMs. do you have a multi meter? can you measure resistance of fast and slow speed on the fan?
  7. The fan you want to use?
  8. So can you find the speeds for the 2 speed fan?
  9. You could fit a resistor to give 3 speeds from a 2 speed fan - dependant on how fast the fans turn (too slow wouldn't be worth it)? You could wire 1 to slow, 2 to fast and 3 to a warning buzzer hidden behind the dash (you might want to attach a defibrillator in case it gives you a heart attack when if goes off - if you've ever heard the low oil pressure warning buzzer you'll know what I mean lol)?
  10. The AC compressors I’ve seen with the clutch just have the pulley sits on a bearing that sits on the outside of the casing. If that’s the case here you could fit a completely gutted comp case with pulley and it would do the same job
  11. USA emissions I'd guess? That's why they didn't et the 2.9?
  12. The duration is the same on the exhaust, just 10 degrees earlier?
  13. They did go bump, Big Boys Toys bought the name for the watercooled side to add to their existing aircooled business and moved it to Essex
  14. Automotive Developments = AmD, the were in Oddington Oxfordshire
  15. AmD, Geoff Everett and Mike Devine, Geoff chipped my MK2. Mike left the company and was bought out by Andrew ????? They did loads of Porsche high end stuff, Geoff previously worked for Bosch flying all over the world
  16. I think BRM were the price leaders at the time so would pick up the higher priced stuff for the well healed. Autocavan were the bread and butter end of things both air and watercooled, stack em high, sell em cheap
  17. I spoke to him, nice beardy chap, GTi screwed him over whilst he was in hospital after a car crash. They were BRM - but the owner of the similar named exF1 team didn't like it, then BR Motorsport - they went bust, the Berrington Road Motor services run by his step son - I lusted over his MK1... BRM / TSR / C&R and a newcomer Stealth in its first guise (Vince and Mark Yates) were the front runners at the time (Awesome were more interested in engine conversions, but sold all the bits too), I think M Y worked for just about everyone as well as APR and Revo.
  18. G632TCA hasn't been seen for 20 years, I've looked over and over. J711FPW was my mate 5 door, got written off 3 years ago. BR only dealt with quality / expensive stuff
  19. It was a Kamei (not a nasty fibreglass copy), I fitted an Audi 80 tilt and slide instead of the OE tilt only, sold it in 1998
  20. You wanted a new scaffwagon? You'd get loadsa clips in that? My old MK2
  21. I've no proof, just seen it several times in various VAG groups on fb
  22. I think you'll find its Cat C (the VOSA inspected bit) - rear ended then converted, its been for sale on and off for a while
