Love the RX8 mate! Just a shame about the engine noise or I would have had one by now myself  I didnt think they were quicker than the VR but the steering feel and handling was sublime 8)

Ha ha ha if only, if only! -
Nice one fella. Get those pics up when you get back! Enjoy 8)

Nice one thank you for that write up, very informative. I have noticed 993 prices have dropped a little recently (as have all performance cars) so was seriously considering the step up. Those costs seem pretty acceptable really. I must have averaged £1k a year maintenance on the Corrado. The only minus point is the MPG but I only do 4k miles a year anyway so.... Very tempting and food for thought! Thank you Matt

Hi mate What have the running costs been like if you dont mind me asking? Thanks Matt

No doubt about it Silkolene Pro S is the best oil out there. Especially for new high performance cars. But I still think it's overkill for an old std VR6. May be a little different mind with your engine Kev

No way.......... £26 for 5L of silver, is that from the stealers? Thats only £23 more then i pay for gold from my vw specialist, inc VAT. Can get Synta Silver for about £15, inc VAT. In that case. Can you get me some please

Ahhhh suspension that costs the same as a complete VR6 Corrado gotta love it
-
Redline MT90 for your gearbox And personally I still swear by the VW Synta Silver semi synthetic stuff for the engine. As long as you are not tracking the car it should easily be up to the job. Plus its less than half the price of a quality synthetic so you can change it twice as often! Plus I have heard that the detergents in fully synthetic oil can break down some of the oily waxy build up on engine seals and make minor leaks more likely on older engines

Top car is mine from a while back so is Aqua blue. Bottom car is Stormcharged's one. So is the Storm Mystic blue colour. Im not 100% that the black would work as well on Aqua as it does with Mystic  Personally I would go Aqua with an Aqua grill. Matt

Looking good! Shame you are just that little bit too far from me :( -
From what I can see that looks lovely mate. Wish I could bring myself to be not that sensible and buy anothe C as a 2nd car
-
You sure you just dont like the car  It is a bit nice! 8)
-
Does this help a little then?
-
Quite. Even other VW's. I would rather have a £15k Golf Edition 30 and a 500 pound remap for 300bhp

Nice 8) I thought this looked ok as well http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1036320.htm

What do you mean mate? Black or blue for your silver car? :confused4:
-
LOL which numpty sprayed that then? Name and shame
-
Have you tried Elephant? They quote you online and you can buy online at that price. Cheap as well, even for modded cars.

Now I don't really know what Im talking about when it comes to engines  But could it be cutting out due to not getting enough fuel? -
Well yes quite. I just meant that most people on here already have a Rado  So if he was after a quick sale he would be better off exposing himself :norty: to a wider audience
-
Do any cars sell on here :confused4: LOL I would stick it on Pistonheads and pay to put it in the Autotrader online Matt

Well if you fancy a fast track car then I can thoroughly recommend something like this: http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1040970.htm or if you want it ready to go... http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/853027.htm http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1038846.htm
