The new Golf Edition 30 or S3 engine would be nice :norty: Probably more expensive initial purchase over an old 1.8T but an easy and very cheap 300bhp 8)
-
Perhaps they charge 2.5k for the engine then? You can get them now for as low as a grand so if you source your own it may be cheaper :confused4:
-
Only with the 6 speed box Pete :salute: Hope we are both in a position one day soon to meet up and see :norty: Thats quite good 2.5k from Stealth. Does that include everything?
-
that alongside kw's and a few changes on the brakes is exactly what i'm doing :) 8) Me too

Its a XR-5509RDS Defo OE fit Matt
-

2nd hand Schrick, 263 cams and remap. 6 speed gearbox and LSD Should make the car feel as fast as an R32! Matt
-
Do you want to make it faster or is it just visual and handling stuff you are after?
-
Im not sure I can it being that easy. But if it was...... :norty:

Nope 80k miles and defo the 5.5L twin turbo V12 "When driving in the third, fourth or fifth gear below 3000 rpm and with the throttle only partly open, the cylinder-control system deactivates the driver's-side bank of cylinders. A computer adjusts ignition timing and throttle position to make the transition seamless. And it works: the driver cannot tell when there are six cylinders running. The benefit is a 20 percent improvement in fuel economy, which lets the CL600 match the CL500's EPA highway rating of 23 mpg." I so want one LOL
-
Yeah I get that a lot, its unreal :cuckoo: The driving test should be a LOT tougher. And why they dont do retests at retirement age and then retest again every five years I dont know :brickwall:
-

Try being on a push bike mate, REALLY opens your eyes up to how many nob drivers there are out there completely oblivious to most things around them :brickwall:
-
I didnt know you were this rich! Why didnt you just buy a 911 Turbo
-
If anyone finds any spare stockof these I would be eternally grateful :notworthy:
-
Yeah I need two of these as well :( Wonder if VAG will sell us a job lot?
-
I really like the Spec B Legacy's 8)
-
Yep thats why I prefer the CL600  You can get a nice one for £10k. MPG isnt that bad either as in urban situations the engine only uses 6 cylinders 8)
-
LOL I bloody hope so for your sake. Wouldnt want to have to see you strip the car down again

Sweet. REALLY cant wait to see it now!

Ok nice one  You changed your mind on the carbon black then?
-
Awesome I love it! Colour should be stunning. I have always wanted a metallic black rado with an ever so slight red tint in it. I have to ask tho can you post a pic of yourself next picture set. Dont worry Im not going a little fruity  Just cant believe your not actually a 65 year old bearded classic car restorer called Bernard from Wolverhampton
-
Yeah they look really good mate. I have kind of been there with the carbon fetish :norty: with Jap cars though and the whole motorsport look. Quite appreciate the extra comforts now in my old age (34)
