I walk past Purple Tom's Corrado everyday on the way to work  Still makes me happy that I still get to see one everyday whilst leaving mine in the garage  I hope part of the reason you dont see many on long journeys isnt because owners are too scared to take them very far for fear of them breaking down

Well it's in for its new clutch tomorrow and rather than be naughty and get an LSD fitted I thought I would be good and do yet more preventative maintenance :cuckoo: :help: So its new chains and guides all the way, woohoo! Oh well hopefully not too long before I can fit some more performance orientated parts  -
Hey nice work fella. Really trying to summon up some enthusiasm to tackle my engine bay! Those OZ wheels look a LOT better as well. Be interested to know how it handles on 16 x 8's when you get them sorted as well. Should look awesome when you have finished. Keep the updates coming! 8) Matt

Awesome. Always nice turning a negative into a positive

I think he may have been suggesting that if you didnt map your engine then you increase the chances of pinking. Although the knock sensor will obviously still pick this up. It is not very healthy for your engine to have the ecu repeatedly retarding the ignition. In fact the knock sensor is only a mild safety device. You can still severely damage your car. edited to add "Doh! beaten to it  "

There is a shop on ebay that used to do them cheap

I say again you lucky devil! You could have a Corrado for life or an Aston for 3 days
-
How much you talking Andy? Must still be around £300 a day isnt it?
-
You lucky devil! Matt

The knock sensor picks up when the engine is starting to "pink" (over fuel). The ecu then receives a signal from this sensor and retards the ignition to suit. Matt

Enkei NT03+M in an 18 inch, nice light forged wheel used in the japanese touring car series (amongst other stuff) You can get them in a 5x100 ET35 17inch 7.5 width. Silver, white, hyper black (look good on ur car) and white by special order. And they only weigh 7.9 kilos 8) I was quite tempted myself but with the Yen and dollar exchange rate now it just isnt viable money wise :(
-
take it you didn't like white wheels then  well just went to take the bolts out, and guess what?? yeh you got it, 2 of the bolts have rounded out :censored: even after i tapped the spline bit firmly into place, looks like a phone call to pw motorsport for me tomorrow then :( I HATE CARS Would you wanna clean 4 of these!? :cuckoo: LOL I do wonder if I would be a lot happier without a car sometimes :gag:
-
I would never EVER never EVER EVER have white wheels again, oh no I think the nightmares are starting again! :bonk:

You do have me thinking it might be nice to paint the door handles, wing mirror surrounds and washer jets (if poss) in black
