Its the VW Golf Gti Excessive (show piece for Worthersee) Oh and I had better point out that the 4WD and Audi engine are my wish list, not part of car  http://uk.autoblog.com/2010/05/14/vw-un ... excessive/

Would probably be this: golf.jpg[/attachment:2xtqiect] with 4WD (80% power to the rear most of time) and the 5 cylinder turbo engine out of the Audi TTRS 8)

Id have to say Mk5 Karl Only reason I keep holding off buying another motor  My mate has 280/280 Mk5 5door GTi and it is probably my perfect car. Yeah ok engine sounds a bit pants but it does everything you could possibly want in a car! Probably bite the bullet and go Edition 30 next spring. Or R32..... (damn that 6 cylinder engine noise!) Saying all of that been driving a low mileage Mk4 Gti quite a bit recently and that seems 10 x newer than the Corrado, quite like it LOL Best bet go drive em all! I reckon if you go 4 Mo though you will just be wanting a Rado again 8)

I wouldnt say that carefully  VR's arent too bad mpg wise to be fair. Its just the price of petrol that is rubbish! I have done 39mpg before at a constant 45mph...... Mixed driving does 25mpg and motorway cruisin between 70-100 does 31mpg (at 70-80 you can do 35ish). Listening to the roar in 2nd gear around town does about 12-15

I find £78 gives me average of 400 miles

Still got my old Koni damper Eibach spring combo. Doing my head in now though LOL

Taken half of mine off (the flaky half!) Used WD40 to desolve glue which worked well. Gonna finish job and buy the original stuff I think even at 100 squid :gag:

Yeah 500lb ft at that! Bet it feels awesome.

The little kid in me is saying I have to have that!!!!!! but like this Ha ha ha anti lag is bloody brilliant  . REALLY not good for your turbo though! edited to add: Just been thinking about this and obviously jumped to conclusions (mainly as coming from Evo background) obviously cant be a true WRC style anti lag, must be a step 2 launch control. And I dont know what effect this has on your turbo! Perhaps Vince could comment on wether it has any detrimental affects?

Car looks lovely mate 8) Where did you get the aero wiper from? How firm is your current ride compared to the Koni TA/H&R combo? If you are ever in the Peak I would love a ride so I can finally make up my mind on wether to go for the KW1's or not! Matt
