To be honest there wont be many Rado's out there now that havent had rust on the inner arches. Just seems to be one of those Corrado things! I wouldnt worry about it at all, easily fixable. Just pencil in £50-£200 depending how bad it is. Matt

Your a brave man! Or just very talented  Good effort. Beast of an engine, love it 8)

Ben-B's Progress Thread - Aqua Blue VR6 with lots of extras!

Looking good! Bet there are a few people who wish they had got in there first now, me included!! Whats the ride like on the KW's and 17's? Everyone swears by the KW1's but I have always wondered how they cope with the Peak District roads, which arent the best sometimes are they! Matt -
Looks lovely mate. You have inspired me to do my beam and brakes this winter 8) Those vento cups should look awesome as well :luvlove:

If you can cope with not using it for a week I would send them the strut and see what they say. I wouldn't buy a new one yet.

Hey Ian! No Im using it too much, everyday! Dont want to run it through another winter as the salt kills it and I would quite like to get a few bits upgraded which will cost a bit of wedge :? Therefore I figured the 'sensible' thing to do would be to stick it away for a year and get a sensible, or un-sensible runaround  I have had it for 9 years now so I am probably due another car LOL How is your motor anyway? You were certainly getting it up to speed last time I saw you 8) -

Probably going to put the old girl into storage for a year or so. Anyone got any tips on keeping everything 100% whilst it is locked up in the garage? Take it I shouldnt bother servicing it before just after? Thanks Matt -
Got any pics?

Need some help, what to do with my car im trying to sell..

Defo get the door cards at £150 you would be mad not to mate. I would make it as standard as possible. If you can raise the ride height I would do that also. GLWS Matt -
Lovin the new wheels mate. You got a side on photo? :luvlove:

They look a bit big, I think thats half the problem. Try some wider 16's or some 3 piece 17's which look smaller than they are... The 17 inch BBS RS'''s are no doubt amazing but been done to death on the show scene. Get scanning the web and hunt out something a little out of the ordinary, should keep you busy for a while  Corrado looks awesome btw 8)

No unfortunately not that version did not get imported into the UK. It does have a rather nice Boxer flat 6 though, sounds a bit like a 911! -

Thanks guy's just the sort of positivity I needed to give me the much needed push to get my hand in my pocket and get one bought LOL  Just need to find a manual one now in silver or black for the right money! I think it could be just the ticket though :luvlove: -

Trouble is the A4 Avant i really want (2.0T FSI Quattro) I cant afford :( If your after a people carrier my boss has an S Max which I drove the other day. All the toys and goes like a rocket ship! I was pretty surprised lol -
Ok I have been looking for a 2nd car for a while now. Need to do more commuting miles and it doesnt make financial sense to run the Corrado all year round anymore. Cant decide wether to just get a £1k 'banger' the sensible option! Or go for something a little newer and hopefully more reliable and refined. Over past few months I have been looking at: Mk2 Golf Gti's Mk4 Golf Gti's Mk4 and Bora 4 Motions Audi A4 1.8T Avants Alfa Romeo 145 cloverleaf! And all manner of beemers, randoms and VAG's!! Anyway..... My criteria is big enough to put a couple of bikes in the back. Nice bit of refinement. Reliability. Interesting engine with a bit of poke. 4wd would be nice. And sensible-ish running costs (Corrado comparable anyway!) Finaly today I figured this does everything I want. Subaru Legacy 3.0 R Spec B. Anyone had any experience of one? If anyone has any other suggestions Im all ears!!! Cheers Matt

Worth a test drive I promise

Bit of a rare beast but Polo GT Tdi is a winner. My sis has one and you cant argue with 130bhp and 220lbft as standard. 180bhp + and 300lbft + chipped! :norty: Plus great mpg blah blah etc etc  Quite expensive still though, but great residuals Matt
