    Corado help

Try using the search, mate. Been discussed sooooo many times. Personally, I'd go with a decent VR6 if you can afford it. However, the G60 is easily tuned to standard VR6 power + you can get them in Nugget yellow if you're lucky. They are VERY different. My advice would be to drive as many as possible before you buy. You can also get a 16v up to 170 bhp pretty easily with a gasflowed head/1.8 head/2.0 bottom end combo.
  2. Nice one Paul! Mine's in on Tuesday- hope it goes the same way as yours! :)

Are you for real mate?! A few days ago you were saying you already had one and you weren't sure what to do with the exterior!
  4. 24 hrs in the pub? Sounds like a plan! Yeh, Saturday ;)
  5. Brilliant! Sorted. Pete, be sure to come and find us if you make it along. Right, if anyone's up for a short convoy, we can meet in the same place as last year- The Huntsman in Falfield (just of Junction 14 M5 on the A38). Directions to the Huntsman. 10:00 am OK with y'all? ps- remember to bring anything you might want to sell for our free autojumble pitch :)
  6. May just need a little adjustment. Check this thread: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?32297-gear-linkage-adjustment Well worth changing the oil for Redline MT90 or Castrol SMX-S (available in Halfords). Oil is easy to change. Also worth checking the gearbox mount and swapping it for the MK2 Golf Deisel mount.
  7. That's a real shame Oz :( If anyone wants to take up the extra place you can- tickets are available on the gate ;)
  8. So, mechanically better, but no soul? Exactly how I've felt with the Hondas I've owned. Brilliant cars, just lack the feel/soul/looks of a Corrado. That said, an I'd have an Accord Type-R as a daily for sure 8)
  9. That's a bloody good price! Always liked these. So, go on then- how do the two compare?
  10. Welcome to the CF! Looks like a lovely VR 8)
  11. They do vary a little, as they were dealer fit.
  12. Have a look at the leads and coilpack- similar to what happened to mine when the coilpack was shot. Otherwise, could be worth checking the fuel pump relay 167 and ecu relay 109.
  13. Grey has been obsolete for a while now, I'm afraid :(
  14. Looks like the weather's gonna be good at the weekend 8)

Have heard about lots of probs with the VW ones over the last couple of years- the quality seems to be very variable. The Beru ones (same manufacturer) from vwspares are pretty much identical, only much cheaper. Think VW only supply them in black now- no more red.

Just get some Dubpower ones new. Only about £35 and very good!

    Bbs cs-5

Not too keen- a bit BK Racing rather than BBS.
  20. £57 each?!!! That is probably the worst pricing yet!
  21. Was getting this too until I ticked the 'Remember Me' box as Jim says above ;)
  22. No worries, dude- that's what the Forum's for! Glad you like the improvement!
  23. Got Admiral too for our 225bhp Octavia vRS & my VR for £560.
