Went for the yellow in the end- had one on the vRS and it was fine. The key is to only tighten the bolt through the bush to 12lbs. Barely any vibration at all. Gearchange is noticeably crisper. Just need to change the oil now. Also just had a major service courtesey of lewvw- thanks matey! Cambelt Waterpump Aux belt Thermostat + housing Oil + filter + sump cleaned + new pickup pipe Fuel filter Plugs Replaced all the wipers with Bosch aerotwin retroblades- thes have made a huge difference, especially the rear one. Replaced the aerial gasket which was crumbling and the aerial itself with an OEM Polo stubby. It looks so much better and still has great reception. Finally, won a headlamp switch + surround on Ebay for 99p. A lot of the soft touch plastic on mine had worn away- the new one is perfect. Next up I need to fit the wheel spacers. Have got 10mm for the front and 20mm for the rear. Have decided to keep the RC's. They're such a nice wheel and they weigh nothing. They look too small at the mo, but the right profile tyres and spacers will hopefully sort that. Also need to change the gearbox and rear diff oil, change the brake fluid and get wheel alignment done.

Have decided to keep these. They're such a fantastic wheel and I really can't be bothered at the mo the search for a nother set of wheels, refurb, tyres etc. I'm determined to make them work on the S3!

One of my old VR's used to do this after I had a decat + removed the centre silencer and swapped it for a straight through non-resonated pipe. Quite liked it!

It's a strange one. I had some starting probs in the summer, which were solved with a new ignition switch. Also changed the crank sensor, FPR, ecu & fuel pump relays, blue temp switch during my ownership. Might be worth checking the spark and taking the coil pack off and giving it a good examination. Could also be fuel pump I guess.

Yep, I have the Corrado profile 40's on them still. I def need 18's though.

As Bill says :)

Unfortunately these are too small for the S3 :( really gutted as they're gorgeous! They are 17" with the correct profile Continental tyres which are all very good. The wheels and centre caps were refurbed on the summer. They are in very good nick with just a couple of small marks. Will get pics and more details up soon. £545 ono

Rob, as I said in the other thread, and as Sean has mentioned here, break it off! Get a flat bladed screwdriver and hammer and give it a few whacks. Look at your new switch and you'll see the tiny plastic bracket you need to break off the existing one.

Engine light was MAF sensor and coolant sensor. Changed the coolant sensor and all fine. Think the MAF didn't like me hitting a big pothole. Not come on again since resetting. The RC's look really small and they need moving out due to the flared arches. Going to try 10mm spacers on the front and 20mm on the rear. If that doesn't solve it, the RC's will be up for sale and I'll be getting some 18's. Really want to keep them, but they just don't look right as they are.

Yep, that's correct. Would think they'll stick out to much. Could be wrong, but reckon will def catch at full lock on the front.

Bump. Price lowered.

They're usually not done up tight from the factory meaning you can use a flat screwdriver and hammer to tap it around from the side. Alternatively, it's quicker to use the hammer and screwdriver to break it off. Look at your new switch and you'll see the little bit of plastic you're trying to break. Absolutely no need to take the seat out etc. Take off the cowling and go from the top. As above, just use a cable tie with the new switch ;)

The wing mirrors are also fitted to various TVRs. The mid-1990s Ford Galaxy V6 has the 12v VR6 engine (2.8). Useful for intake pipes, breathers, stat housing, sensors etc. Obviously the same as the Sharan V6 of the same era as well.

8) Thanks for letting me know Ron.
