Dubpower ones are quality and not too pricey. Alternatively, the beru ones vwspares sell are pretty much identical to the beru leads vw sell, only much cheaper.

Trimsport VW Corrado Carbon Fibre Rear Number Plate Holder

Matt, any chance of a cf rear number plate light cover? -
Saturday 20th July, Castle Combe. Would be cool to meet up for a convoy en-route. Proposed meet point: Cotswold Edge Golf Course, Bowcott, Upper Rushmire, Wotton-under-Edge,, Gloucestershire GL12 7PT @ 8:15am. Anyone coming off the M5 would need to exit at J14. Also easily accessible for those travelling down the A46 etc. Who's in?
-
There was definitely a Corrado (G60?) running in the VW cup this year. Caught it on TV (Channel 4) a few weeks ago. The Rado did OK against all the modern stuff 8)

Yep, there are some fine conversions out there, and some have been as much through necessity as anything else. For example, it would've cost Jake (Swompy) more to have his VR6 rebuilt properly than have a 24v transplant. Not sure I'd ever be able to afford a full rebuild if mine went pop, but think I'd source a decent 12v replacement. Personal preferences. I can totally understand the 1.8T route for old valvers etc. Brian's car (DragonGreen) is superb 8)

Agree with Jon. Mine's the same. You lose the lovely VR sound with the 24v too...

Local lowers the oil temp by around 10 degrees. A pair of oem sensors will set you back around £50.
-
It's the same as the mk3 golf front mount.

It's worth getting the rad fan cowling, cross member, bumper iron and rad support panel shotblasted and powdercoated. I would also replace all the screws, nuts and bolts in the slam panel etc. Give the oil sensors etc a good check over and clean. Replace if you're feeling flush :) Give the battery/earth cables a good check. Check/clean/paint the battery undertray.

I would go with VW for bushes, mounts etc. False economy to go for pattern parts IMHO. The R32 bushes are great by the way!
-
Johnny, I'll have them :) Will send you a PM...
-
/\ +1. You can't really tell until you've had it shot-blasted. You can then make a decision on whether it's worth getting powder coated or not. Shouldn't cost too much at all.

They were deleted because it was turning into an auction, which isn't allowed. It was moved because it was in the wrong section. I'm considering deleting a lot of the content again, as the OP has a legitimate Ebay thread in the correct section, and again it's turning into something completely different. A good discussion? Yes. In the wrong place? Yes! Not really fair on the OP. If he wants to stick it on Ebay and put a link on here in the correct place, that's fine. I agree that a private sale would be better, but it's up to the OP. He's following the rules now, although next time I would hope it's actually on Ebay before the thread is started ;) That OK with you Clumpy?

Absolutely! Sometimes my dealer will give up to 20%, depending on the part. Mind you, I've been going there for 12-odd years and have spent £££ with them ;) so they owe me some discount! :)

I think the Ford 'cheap prices' bubble has well and truly burst. All the VR bits seem to be more expensive than VW now. I remember buying a blue temp sensor from Ford 3 years ago. They had it on the shelf and it was less than a tenner. Over £20 now. Thermostat was over £50 last summer. Yep, £50!

It just needed mod approval because of your low post count. Sorted for you now :) -
Hi, I've got a pedal box in good nick.

Got a brand new one for the rear. It's a trimsport one so is excellent quality. £7.50 delivered if i can find it!

Taken 2: 6/10 Some good action and ideas, but clearly rushed out to capitalise on the success of the first one. Not 'big' enough and over very quickly. Flight: 8/10 Thought this was really excellent. The crash scene is real edge of the seat stuff. Denzel W is a fantastic actor!

Insane in the Brain!

:-( well done for getting a relatively easy sale mate. Worth every penny. It's a sad day though...
