What are they anyway? That should be, what were they? Toyota Camry's?
-
Gotta agree with Shilakadaddy- that 300ZX is sweet 8) . The rest, however are a joke
-
It was the 119 BHP model that was 9.5 0-60mph. What was the turbo? Sub-6 seconds?
-
The MR2 has a faster 0-60mph on paper. This is mainly due to the G60's ratios- you can't get to 60mph in second. In gear, and through the gears I would think that the G60 is considerably quicker due to having a fair bit more torque. Get it chipped and pulleyed, and it would be in a different league to the MR2.
-
Get the G60. Not worth getting the MR2 unless you go for a turbo imho. G60 is rarer, superb tuning potential and you'll never be accused of being a hairdresser
-
Cheers G60Knight for a rear heated screen switch. Arrived quickly and in tip top condition :D .

You could get a nice C VR for under £4K. Mine will be up for sale soon at around £3K
-
The Corrado one is smaller. Go for it- supposed to be worth while. I'm sure someone who's got one will be along in a minute to give more info
-
Blimey, some of these mpg figures are terrible! My G60 was chipped & pulleyed and always got at least 35mpg on a long run at 75-85mph. VERY nice G60 by the way! As gradeAfailure said, you must be within reach of a specialist. Whereabouts are you?
-
Jim, if you're seriously thinking of a MK3 VR, you might as well check out 200SX s14A too. Similar insurance, and mpg would be better. Faster + loads of kit in the Touring. Rear wheel drive....
-
Blimey, Chris! That is really hefty- if I had a bill like that there is absolutely no way I'd be able to pay it :? I bet half the bill was labour. I've done a few things myself, but am not confident enough to do the PAS pipe :(
-
Was going to suggets an Ibiza Cupra too. Look good in black- didn't they do a 16v too? Other than that Civic VTI's are pretty good. Most people prefer the 1.6, but I liked the 1.8 better (same engine as Integra GSR) as it was quite torquey (for a Honda). You know that nothing will go wrong either- stress-free driving, unlike a certain other car I could mention  Pirate's Black is also my fav car colour 8) Nice £5K VTI-S at a Honda dealer in Wolverhampton  Check out Autotrader.
-
Yeh- always use them. Shame there isn't a real specialist around here, but they're pretty good (better than Euro Canterbury  ). Whereabouts in Canterbury are you? There's quite a few of us on here now :)
-
I wish- dealer only part and aparently a bugger to fit. £170 for the part   and 1-1.5 hours labour @ £45 p/h :( Some of the parts for these cars are an absolute rip off. Totally fed up with it.
-
Split PAS pipe  Car will be off the road for a couple of days until they get the pipe.
-
Cheers guys. Chris, think you're right- haven't got the time to try and sort this myself, so I hastily booked it in to my local specialist. They're looking at it now- I'll let you know what they find :? Getting a bit fed up with the worry of things going wrong- when you find yourself thinking about it all the time and getting stressed, it's time to move on. Really love the car and nothing major has gone wrong, but this age of car (especially a sports car) has so much wear and tear stuff to continually sort. I think the vRS will be arriving sooner than planned...

Magnex and Milltek are similar quality, although I think some people have had fitting issues with Milltek. Don't touch Scorpion with a barge pole- harsh, loud, don't fit very well. Bastuck have a growing rep, and Supersprint are the daddies. Have you got a Powerflow dealer near you? As your car is lowered, a custom fit job might be best. Best sounding exhaust I've had was a Powerflow- nice burble and pop on idle and a deep throaty sound when booting it- not stupidly loud or boomy either. You can choose the sound too.

Right, discovered an oil patch on the ground under the front of the engine bay. Had a good look and it's very difficult to see exactly where it's coming from, so I've attached a pic (sorry about the angle- hope you can get your heads around it  ). My oil level seems fine, but my power steering fluid is on the minimum line. Could it be this? Cheers!

Magnex

Think £8k is a tad optimistic- most of the best Storms for sale are less than that. This sort of car is almost impossible to put a price on. You've put a tremendous amount of work into it, and the mods look very well executed. Heavily modified cars rarely sell for anything like what they've cost to put together- just one of those things :( Put up the spec so we can get a better idea :)
-
Think they're OK, but the 2.0 GTI is terrible! How can VW manage to get sooo little power from a 2 litre?!
-
These are excellent! Very impressed- one of those mods that really brings the C up to date (along with changing the tail lights).
-
So far on this one: CV joint, major service, all engine mounts, brake pads and discs all round, rear bearings, lambda wiring, oil filter housing, CAI. £1.1 K in less than a year  Thought it would be about half that! Blimey!
-
Bobbywhacker, try a search mate- been discussed many times. Think the Stealers sell a repair kit of some sort, although they'd rather not sell it to you so you buy the whole thing
-
What's the mileage of the rest of the car? History? £5.5-6K? Provided it has full history.
