  1. Dave, I'll take the grille please.
  2. Have added ticket details to the first post. This is really shaping up! Plenty more room on the stand... Please make sure you're a fully paid up CCGB member, or alternatively, you can join on the day :)
  3. Would like to get this done at some point, the distance is a prob though... Any idea just how clean it gets the injectors in comparison to having them sonically treated?
  4. Thanks for the pic Dave. Is it a genuine black VW badge or has it been sprayed? Are the top slats 'closed'?
  5. Hi Dave, any pics of the grille? :)
  6. No offence mate, but why would you want to do that? Just wouldn't look right at all imho!
  7. My money's on the immobiliser. Just remove the driver's undertray. Trace the black cable from the ignition to a little black box hidden in the dash (kind of behind the headlight switch). Remove the small plug & spray with WD or electrical contact cleaner. Refit. Remove. Spray again. Repeat several times. This will hopefully do the trick!
  8. He's back! Well done on the 5th mate 8)

  11. Have a look here for some more info: http://www.alloyguide.com/pcd.php Re: suppliers- just Googled and got this: http://www.spigotrings.com/shop/
  12. Car's really coming together mate! Lots of hard work eh? That's Corrados for ya. Love the leather 8)
  13. The VW bore is 57.1 mm, so the spiggot rings will need to make up the difference between the bore of your wheels an that. You'll need to measure the bore of the wheels precisely with good calipers, or just take one to a machine shop or similar and they'll do it for you. So for example, if your wheels are 59.1, your spiggots will need to be 2mm. If they're smaller than 57.1, you can get them machined or just buy some rims that fit! There are lots of spiggot suppliers who can make them to order once you have your size.
  14. I'd second that about the V6 TDi. Not that great economy at all. My sis has the A4 and her husband used to have the A6. Lovely cars, but not much faster than the 'lesser' engines and much less frugal.
  15. Working fine fo me now on IE & Chrome. Nice job lads! 8)
