CrazyDave is a member on here. Used to co-own DG Autotech. Remapped Swompy's old 16v with good results. Drop him a pm.

I would go with KR cam + flowed head + 4-branch + CrazyDave remap. You should see getting on for 170bhp with that little lot. Hotgolf has now left ClubGTI.

Saw the original ad on Ebay. Always amazes me that people can't even be bothered to wash their car etc for the ad photos! Lost count of the times I've looked at ads where the footwells are full of muck and the floor mats are slung in sideways. So lazy. Just shows what a bit of effort can do as it looks OK now, whereas in the original ad it looked a complete nail!

As said before, kitchen knives I can understand. A good quality knife set in the kitchen really enhances the whole cooking experience. After that though, I just don't understand it. The fact that so many teenagers (and younger) 'pack a knife' these days is the ultimate turn-off, not to mention very sad and very worrying.

Good grief...

Have you checked that all the ISV pipework is completely clear?

Only time I occasionally see one is when I go into Bristol. Otherwise, it's a rare site indeed!

Brilliant! Icing on the cake 8) -
Whatever you do, don't go with 17s on standard ride height!

Speedlines are readily available, as are Solitudes. Any 5-stud Mk3/4 Golf wheels will fit. Stick with 15s ;)

Whereabouts is the Garage in Nailsworth? Have had a few bits and pieces powder coated by QS on the industrial estate, and make the occasional stop at Hobbs House, but otherwise usually just drive through. Been meaning to go to Forest Green for years! Planted a field full of Elder flower trees for Bottle Green on top of the hill above Forest Green many years ago in my days as a forester :) Haven't been that way for a few months- always looked a nice mota.

Blimey- just up the road! You'll have to come along to some meets :) Which garage do you work in? ---------- Post added at 08:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:30 PM ---------- Just realised- do you live on the bend and have the MK2 under a cover? Been past loads of times if so... ---------- Post added at 08:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:32 PM ---------- The one I'm thinking of is actually in Cockadilly. Cockadilly

Welcome! Exciting plans- a charged ABF would really fly 8)

That's so sad matey :( Keep her!

Or try asking VW for one off the Sharan VR6 as I'm pretty sure they'll sell it on its own without the other pipework that usually bumps the price up.
-
Looking shweeeeeeet! 8)

Give LauraJ a shout ;)

Not seen that combo before- looks very, very nice!

PCV breather valve. VW will try to sell you the whole inlet pipe with it, so just ask for the Sharan VR6 one, as it's the same ;) You can actually just connect it with a normal pipe- early VR6s had this setup. Or you could fit a catch can instead. If it turns out not to be this causing the prob, check all the intake pipework and ISV for leakage. Check underneath the pipes etc as sometimes the tiniest split can cause these sorts of probs.

I'm not over keen on the look, but got it on at the mo to save my freshly painted Storm grille over the winter ;) They are very good quality.
-
Very, very nice!
-
Steve, they've gone up a lot in the last year or so £2.5K + VAT delivered. Then you have to get it fitted...
-
Welcome! Looks nice- what is it? 16v or G60?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-DEBADGED-GRILL-BADGELESS-GRILLE-FK-AUTOMOTIVE-16V-G6O-VR6-/320790778941?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab09ed43d Excellent price, even with the postage. Good to use for the winter, especially as the standard grilles will prob be obsolete before long!
