  1. Profile should be 45 for 16s. It's worth checking these threads, which have been running for years: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?23595-The-Suspension-Discussion-Thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?51313-The-Tyre-Discussion-Thread-please-read-1st-post
  2. Welcome :) Looks really nice. Yep, it has a Storm badge- let me know if you swap it back to the proper Karmann badge- could do with a spare Storm one ;)
  3. Will be quite smelly with one of those fitted! I would fit a catch can if you're deleting the pcv.
  4. Not much help, but 17s just don't work on a Corrado IMHO. They look good, but they have such a negative effect on how the car handles/rides etc, its just not worth it. If you want bigger, 16s are a much better compromise.
  5. As Swompy has said, try the search ;) Locky.
  6. Gotta love these spammers!
  7. I seem to remember a pic of Kev's VR with a tonne of wood on the roof! Would hate to use the C as a proper family car. Its OK occasionally, but really annoying having to actually climb into the back just to strap the kids in. They also trash it. Nice for going away in though (without the kids!).
  8. 2nd that- would be interested in a VR6 badge too!
  9. Always a relief! Any advisories? What were the CO2 readings like? I (and the tester!) was amazed at how amazingly clean mine was running- was a pleasant surprise. YOu just don't expect cars of this sort of age to be so clean.
  10. Can you scan it? What was the mileage? Wish I could find one of these!
  11. Neil, any chance you can get the black rear VW badge?
  12. The standard VR6 leads were red, but got a feeling they're only available in black now. DubPower ones are red. Yeh, epoxy could well save you getting a new pack. Worth a go.
  13. Welcome to the forum! :) Inspect them all carefully. If there is another vR owner locally with good leads/coilpack, it would be a good idea to swap the lead out to make sure. The coilpack housing can crack all over the place- sometimes you can't see the cracks unless you take it off and give it a really good inspection. You can then cover them with epoxy resin, or preferably just get a new one. Personally, I'd probably replace the leads anyway- DubPower ones are good and also the Beru ones from vwspares.co.uk are OE quality and won't break the bank.
  14. That looks very tidy indeed! :) Heater matrix is great fun
  15. Just to add- the CCGB Membership system is in the process of a complete overhaul. It's archaic to say the least and is being streamlined/modernised, so will be much more efficient re: sending new kits out etc.
  16. Jay will need later bar hangers, not hooks. I would say £150.
  17. Brilliant Andy- thanks! Let me know how much I owe ya 8)
  18. You still around then? ---------- Post added at 02:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:26 PM ---------- How much do you want for it mate? Only need the housing, so that should save the postage a bit...
