Was a good run out today. Great to see everyone- shame about the traffic on the way to Stow, but the Burford to Cirencester section was excellent 8) Curry was good, but I think I'll go for something a little hotter next time :) ---------- Post added at 03:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:53 PM ---------- ...ahem...

So the 9a 2.016v also had the 3.68 final drive? That will make sourcing one easier then!

They don't in my experience. They feel pretty much the same to be honest. The first Stealth RR I went to, I hardly knew anyone, and yeh, it was a little awkward. As has been said earlier, it's like with any situation where you're new- you've just got to make the effort and get stuck in. For me, some of the best meets are the local meets, where you can go for a meal etc. The Air Balloon meets are always great. Bristol Volksfest always has a good atmosphere too, as well as Stanford etc. There have been some absolutely cracking CCGB National Days too, such as the Prescott Hillclimb, Castle Combe etc.

Had mine blasting out this afternoon and they were boiling 8) Got caught in the most hideous downpour of rain, watching my Year 4/5 football team play 5 matches in a tournament. The rain lasted nearly an hour. Suffice to say, I was absolutely soaked and freezing, so the heaters on the way home were a relief!

Give the ISV and it's pipework a good check. Clean the ISV, remove the pipes and make sure they're all clear.

RIP, Plum :(

Time of year Laura. It's not gonna make you feel any better, but when you bought it from me a few months ago, I could have sold it several times over. I'm sure it will sell, but you will prob have to drop your price at this time of year :(

My School football team were playing an away game the other day, and we arrived just as the children were going home. A group of boys walked past as I was getting parked and one of them said "That car is siiiiiiiiiick!"

Grey J-plate G60 on Azev A alloys parked up infront of a garage in Swansea. Not sure of the road name, but I'm pretty sure I've seen this car here before.

Sounds like the factory immobiliser. Remove the trim from under the steering wheel. Trace the black wire from the ignition to the immobiliser module (small black box). It will have a small black plug. Undo the plug and spray with contact cleaner. Plug/unplug a few times, spray again etc and this should clean the connections. Other than that, it could be the actual ignition switch, fuel pump relay, ecu relay or several other things. Try the immob fix first though as it's the easiest ;)

Blimey! Do you really want to do all that?! I know you like a project, but that will take a while... Cost it all up in £ and hours. Then, make a decision as to whether it's worth it. If the cost is similar to buying a pretty decent Rado that doesn't require much work, I'm sorry to say, but I think I'd break the Plum, cut my losses and get stuck into a new Corrado that won't require such a big money and time outlay. My 2p :(

I got mine off Ebay- http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=demister+repair&_sacat=See-All-Categories but you can get the paint from Maplins, Halfords and most motor factors.
